There is all this talk about the Jets taking Super Mario at the 4 pick...but there are other talented DE's. My sleeper is The DE from Penn State Tamba Hali who was the Senior Bowl defensive MVP and led the Nittanny Lions to a win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl. Any thoughts on this guy 2nd rounder?

He will probally be a 1st rounder...i dont see him falling to us at #29, or even the 2nd round.

Actually, after his workouts, he is projected to be available at 29 and perhaps 35.

Yeah in all recent mock drafts from "realiable" draft sources (Scott Wright, Kiper, etc.) I've seen Hali's gone second round.

Yea, there are definitely some pro bowl caliber DE's in this year's draft....But Super Mario is one of those "special" players that, if available at #4, it would be the dumbest mistake to pass him up. If Super Mario was still available at #4 and we passed on him for some reason, I think that would be the worst move since passing on Marino and getting Ken O' Brien.

Of course, this all depends on who will even be available at # 4.

Sorry Hali is too soft. There better off with others. But i had MATT BERNSTEIN on my list. He would be the perfect blocking type of fullback that Schotteheimer would want for his offense.
