    Haven't thought about it but the years ending in 8 haven't been bad at all for the Jets.
    1968: 11-3 SB champs
    1978: 8-8
    1988: 8-7-1
    1998: 12-4 Lost Conf championship
    2008: 8-3 so far

    Overall W-L rec: 47-21-1

    I can see the 13-3 or 12-4 but not #1 seed because Tenn. has to lose 2 out of 4 and that is out of our hands. I am thinking #2 seed with a 1st round bye and we face Pitt. and then a rematch with the Titans.

    I did not mean to call you a moron. I just saw your post on the eat crow thread and you actually seem like a respectable guy. But the 13-3 thing was way to jump of the gun.

    We couldn't stop the pass then and we can't stop it now. People need to keep their expectations in check.

    Apology accepted, and yeah I jumped the gun. But can you blame me? Jet fans had the right to be excited after 2 big wins and being 8-3, no one expected us to be where we are right now after that start.

    And by the way you missed the whole point of my prior post.
