After the final undefeated team loses, Dick Anderson and fellow 1972 Dolphin Nick Buoniconti have had a champagne toast ''pretty much every year since 1992,'' Anderson said. But Anderson said they will not in the wake of Tennessee's loss to the Jets on Sunday: ``It's bittersweet -- I'm not going to celebrate a Jets victory.'' http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/78994-72-dolphins-wont-toast-titans-loss?eref=fromSI ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm glad they couldn't celebrate this year because of us. F'in embarrassments. This is a prime example of being a child when you're 60+ years of age. Extra victory for our beloved Jets.
Oh come on. Dolphins and Jets is a classic rivalry. Kudos to him for keeping true to his colors. Also, fuck the Dolphags.
Oh it just breaks my heart to hear that the Jets ruined their stupid ass annual champagne celebration. Screw the Dolphins!
SWEET!!!! i asked last week if anyone knew if the dead fish would do that stupid toast. i didn't know if the pats season killed it or they just didn't want to toast the JETS!!!!:finssuck::beer::rofl::beer::finssuck:
Yeah really, there was a team that finished the regular season undefeated last year. Record's over buddies.
Interesting that last year they denied that they did that (not that anyone believed them, of course). While it ultimately matters to almost no one, it is also one of the more classless things in sports, and I'm always amazed at how clueless they are to how idiotic it makes them look.
Other than Bonds breaking Aaron's record I can't think of another player or team that doesn't embrace somebody breaking their record. Fuck these tools.....
