He´s a very important part of their Offense, this definitly makes the week 17 matchup easier. edit, could a mod please correct the typo in the title: Reciever, thanks.
I wonder if GC is as important as his numbers suggest. After the Denver game one of the Denver DBs said they were leaving GC open when he was on the "backside" of the play to focus on run support and thats how he got so many catches.
Whenever you begin to feel bad for the Dolphins...think of this http://www.wfsb.com/2007/1020/14382088_240X180.jpg and this http://www.phinatics.com/dougswebimages/mudgame.jpg
He saved us from the 0-16 season last year, and he was Chad's favorite target this year. This was a huge loss. I don't think I could have hated the Boston Patriots any more. We almost lost Jake Long in that game too
I really liked him, he is a gritty guy and has some speed. He also had a great game yesterday and was a potential 1000 yard guy. Throw in the fact that he was on my fantasy team and I'm really disappointed but hopefully Brandon Jones can fill the void nicely because Plaxico isn't much in the Giants plans anymore I need points anywhere I can get them.
It's always depressing when good guys are injured. And Camarillo was definitely a good guy. He was the model of a scholar-athlete in college. He walked on the football team as an engineering major at Stanford and was Academic All-Pac 10 for three years. And as an UDFA, Camarillo has not had an easy path in the NFL. But through hard work the guy basically made himself into a starting pro wide receiver. What's not to like about that? I'm really pleased Camarillo signed his 6M contract. However with his injury there's some doubt that he'll be able to make the roster again in Miami. I am sure hoping that he does.
He's pretty lucky he just signed his contract extension, too, so he at least got paid before he got hurt.
Davone Bess was a hell of a receiver at Hawaii and has seen his role increase the last two weeks. I think he can do a lot of the things Camarillo did. He's a shifty guy with great hands. I don't expect this injury to be as big as many other people do. -X-
