Yes, team definitely has a better record with Fat-gini than Husky-gini. Please make sure the man is stocked with ribs. Dry-rub preferably.
Best game he's coached. Not prevent, the 4th down call late, and the refusal to stop rushing the ball. The Titans were over rated, but there are still good. The CS put us in a position where we could overcome turnovers, but our players won this one in the end.
Actually we went prevent early on the Tenn TD drive... and Law got caught twice on that drive. But other than that, our O-Line allowed our CS to call running plays and control the clock. I still have my issues with some conservative play calling in the redzone but can't really complain much with the effort put forth today...
I Dont think he ever left. This guy's built a pretty bad ass jets team in just 3 years. Just like Parcells maybe better. BIG Ups to Tannenbaum too.
Interesting story: I know a guy who met Mangini on thursday and asked about how he felt going into Tennessee, he was surprised to hear how much confidence Mangini had going into today. And that guy saw namath play, so he's seen and heard all that same Jets crap before... I'll see him tomorrow, so I can't wait to hear what he thinks now, because he was reluctant to agree with Mangini's thoughts on beating the Titans.
Did you all see the way Mangini pulled Sutton to the side after the Titans started managing some sort of offense?
