Love Madden. Collinsworth very good. I like Troy Aikman as well as an analyst, simms maybe slightly less
He's in Madden '09? Yes, I do listen to him on NFL Network when he does the games, and I think he's the best Analyst in broadcasting.
You mean when he's not on crack, right? Like last week with 8 seconds left and the Jets had a 4th and whatever and he said they have enough time for two shots at the end zone.
In other news, the sky is blue and water is still wet. Seriously, is Chrissy the best the NFL Network can come up with in terms of "on air talent"?
yeah is one of the announcers for madden. if you like him dont listen to him on madden it will only make you start to dislike him. they must get a really limited time to get the announcers to record lines because they say the same shit all the time.
CC knows the game, but Jaworski I prefer since he's much less obnoxious, and probably knows the game at least as well as CC. Aikman has turned out to be surprisingly better than I thought he would be.
he did have two plays. The time was stopped at 0:01 seconds. So if Moss' catch wasn't complete, he had one more shot. Collinsworth was correct in saying so. You can have 2 shots at the end zone.
A lot of people are starting to like the Jets...people that never liked them before. It's a Favre thing. If he's through his adjustment period to the offense and specifically the receivers, then there's no telling how good the J!E!T!S! can be offensively.
good point. That would make it impossible. I'll spin my argument to this - you can get two plays off in 8 seconds in the NFL.
Obviously you can, but that doesn't give you 2 shots at the end zone with 8 seconds left, and no time outs on 4th down.
not on 4th down because its impossible. I failed to comprehend that part when i read it. I only read the time needed to complete 2 plays. Mistake on my part.
If he gets a first down and is able to get out of bounds they would have had enough time for one more play with :08 left.
People are serious? Troy Aikman is a good analyst? The time Aikman sticks out in my mind is when the Colts played the Redskins, Peyton Manning got twisted so bad, the back of his head touched his heels. Manning had to sit out for a couple of plays. Aikman's analysis on the play: (As Manning is getting twisted up in slow-mo) "From this angle, it's hard to tell where exactly Manning got hurt." He's pretty horrible. Collinsworth is good on games, just horrible during ITNFL. But I like Jaws the most.
Collinsworth picked the Jets last week as well. He came in right after the pre-game show where everyone else liked the Pats and was 'wondering out loud' why no one liked the Jets and why they weren't thought to be a real threat. To him, it was obvious. I like Collinsworth...he's a pretty smart guy!
