I remember a few years ago many Jet fans were actually rooting for the Pats ( before they became the arrogant pricks they are today) before their first Super Bowl win. Not ALL of us, but some.

    My question is...

I KNOW there is an old-school rivalry with the Dolphins, but with the advent of Parcells, Pennington, etc, coupled with the fact that the Pats have now taken the place of the defacto 'most hated team' in our division, would any of you wind up rooting for the Dolphins if they made the Super Bowl and were playing some random NFC team that you had no real interest in? This could be simply because they were representing the AFC East (I think that's what happened during the first Pats Super Bowl win) or because of the familiar figures over there now.

Years ago during the Marino years, this would have seem implausible. What's your thought process at this point?

And please, just take this as a curious question. OF COURSE I want the Jets to go to the Superbowl over Miami!

Screw the Pats. The Jets have a better record than Miami right now. Plus they play again. Taking out the pats as early as possible only increases the Jets chances. I hate miami, but as of now, NE is our biggest threat.

Whoa. If Chad gets to the SB and its with the Dolphins no less, that will be conclusive proof that there is no such thing as justice in this world. He owes us.

Is this serious? I wouldn't root for the Pats, Fins, or Bills under any circumstances whatsoever. Who the hell would root for AFC East pride?

Oh, and anyone who rooted for the Pats in their first SB win over the Rams needs to turn in his Jets fan card. Seriously. I don't care if it's 7 years overdue.

I hate far too many people on that club for me to root for them. I'll allways support Penny thou. If they lost every game with Chad passing for 300 yds and 2 TDs, i couldn't be happier.

I don't know. Most of the reason I hate the Phins (Shula, Marino) are gone. I would probably root for Pennington over rooting for the Phins.

That is a horrible way to depict the playoffs since the brackets are re-seeded after each round.

That is wrong. How is Miami in and Baltimore out when they have the same record and Baltimore beat them?

Right now, Tenn and Pitt have the byes. The Jets would play Baltimore at home and Indy would be at the Broncos

HELL NO. I am a bigger Chad fan than any, but I would love to watch him throw 5 picks a game the next 6 weeks and end up 6-10. I HATE Miami.

It's his picks, not the actual playoff scene.
