Now i know what your thinking, 3-3 That's it??? I dont think were going to lose another game all year.

I understand where your coming from but realistically about to play the undefeated titans, going to Denver and then playing 2 more division games, i dont see it happening.

Now i see us going 4-2 and losing to the titans and either the dolfags or the bills or the broncos. (Hopefully im wrong but we'll see)

but worst case scenario we go 3-3 and end up 10-6, is that good enough to get into the playoffs?

That's a tough scenario because Miami would overtake us in the division barring a disaster, Indy could overtake us in the wildcard, and Baltimore is lurking.

    12-4.

We win Sunday, Split the west coast games beat Denv,Buff,Miami.

It is possible, if we win Sunday, that we run the table.

i'm nervous because say we lose to TENN, we have a tough game against Denver the following week. it is possible that we go 0-2 the next two weeks, and i think that could kill our season.

It might, but if we lose 3 games to some combination of Seattle, SanFran, Miami, Denver and Buffalo, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Fuck 10-6 thats the safe bet... go 11-5/12-4 and get the division without tiebreakers.

Probably does if 2 of the 3 wins are the Bills and Miami.

To finish 3-3 to end the season , I personally wouldn't want to be in the playoffs!
Finish strong like elite teams do and then you deserve to be in the playoffs.
I mean how many times have we backed into the playoffs or just made it only to be undone in the divisions round or the first. I always felt we weren't scaring anyone and we knew it! Its time to punch teams in the face and walk into the playoff in charge for a change and win it all!

12-4 guarantees us the division as long as we beat Buffalo or Miami.

11-5 gets us the division assuming Miami and New England lose 1 more game, and at the minimum should get us #6 seed if New England or Miami manage to go 12-4.

10-6 will give us a shot at the #6 seed, but it will all depend on tie-breakers. We could even win the division as long as we beat Miami and Buffalo, if New England and Miami lose 2 more games each, giving us the #4 seed. Backing in to a division title just like 2002.

10-6 isn't bad & would probably get us a WC. The Giants were 10-6 last year.

ya but there is a lot of teams that are going to end up right around 10-6 very dangerous spot for us to be in

Going 3-3 over the last 6 games will put us on the bubble of the playoffs.
Cleveland Browns were 10-6 last year & didnt get in.

This is the direct result of losing to Oakland ----- we lost any cushion with that game.

12-4 guarantees the division if the winner of Miami-Patriots doesn't win out.
    11-5 guarantees the division if:

    1. Miami beats Pats, we beat Miami.
    2. Pats beat Miami, Pats lose somewhere.

10-6 looks like it won't cut it this year. There are just too many teams that are going to finish with that record.

Our best bet is to win our division. 11-5 will probably be enough, as long as the wins are in the division. Of course, ideally, we want that #1 seed and we can actually hope for it. If we beat the Titans this week, they have two pretty tough games to end the season in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. Losing to the Browns or Texans isn't out of the question, either.

I think there are too many 6-4 teams in the AFC who have a good shot at ending up 10-6, so going 3-3 would be pretty risky. On the other hand, i dont expect NE or MIA finishing 11-5, and with the tiebreaker on our side due to div. record, we could easily wind up winning the afc east at 10-6. I still prefer going 11-5 thou.
