Obviously the jets need to win Sunday. But there are other games we should keep our eyes on.

    Thursday-
Cincy at Pitt--We need Cincy here. If the Steelers lose and the Jets win, it moves the Jets into the #2 seed.

    Sunday-
Philly at B-More-- A Philly win to keep Baltimore off our necks.

KC at B-lo--Put the Bills out of their misery

Oakland at Denver-- A Denver lose could help the Jets in seeding.

NE at Miami---I know some of you want NE to win. Fu** that! I hope the Pats implode. Another nail in the coffin of the Pats is fine with me. I know some say Miami has the easier schedule, but seriously...Giving NE hope with a road win in Miami is a recipe for disaster. Just remember, Miami ends the season with back to back COLD WEATHER road games. With the biggest being at NYJ...I like Favre and the Jets over Chad and the Phins in a late December Meadowlands match.

You nailed all of them. It would be nice for all of the AFC to lose and beat Tenn and have an outside shot of the #1 seed. Aim high!

I hate the Phish but right now nothing pleases me more than a N.E. slide. If it came down to it I would rather play the Dolphins for all the marbles and revisit the old rivalry.

that would finish both even for wildcard implications. Good call.

Don't forget the colts at qualcomm. I don't think it will come down to colts/jets for the last wildcard spot, but still, i would be more relaxed if the colts had their little run stopped. We all know what they are capable of, and i don't want them rolling into the playoffs with momentum.

I want miami to win get the pats out of the playoffs race as quick as possible, we still play miami in the last game so right now im rooting for miami to beat the patriots. Steelers have a tough schedule ahead after this weeks easy game against the bengals so as much as i want them to lose this week i dont think they are but they still have some tough games ahead of them

Cincy, KC and Oakland are the 30th, 29th and 28th ranked teams in the league. Maybe one can get a win?

Philthy matches up well with the purple birds. This should go in our favor. B'more plays the Steelers later this year and I'd like for it to be to our advantage for B'more to win. In other words, if B'more loses this week at best they can be 11-5 with games against Dallas and Washington on the schedule. Pittsburgh has a decent schedule the rest of the way but I'd like them to help us by beating Tennessee. Their other tough games are Dal, @Bal and @NE.

NE @ Miami can only help us one way or another.

    NE.

Mia plays StL, Buf, SF, KC, @jets.

NE plays Pit, Sea, Oak, Ari, Buf

Pit and Ari are tougher than the Jets and Sea.

No way. Miami has 2 divisional games left. Why root for a team that has caused us headaches for the past 10 years? Hope for NE to get squashed.

Absolutely, positively root for Miami over NE. We do not want NE hanging around. Let's say NE beats Mia and then beats Pitt at home (very plausible), then we could be fucked.

Mia can lose to any team on their sched because they aren't that good.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Any Jet fan who is actually rooting for the pats this sunday needs their head examined.
