He first gets into how the Jets D was gassed, and the Pats would have won for sure if they won the coin toss, but I think we all know that, nothing remotely profound there. But then he goes to this:

Brett Favre played an incredibly clean game no dumb throws just took the sack or threw it away, nice to see Favre do this

Favre never throws INTs against the Pats. He has something like an 8-0 mark against them in 3 games.

But if Favre plays like this against everyone, GB is going to have an extra 1st round pick this year. And I'll gladly give it to them.

If he's not used to seeing Favre work that way, guess he didn't watch too many Packer games last year, because I sure am.

4 loves a good tight end, he and Keller could be something special.

I am very impressed with how well Favre did this game. I remember watching him in the past in big games where he comes out over-amped and launches a couple of early passes into the stands.

His early passing stats in this game were excellent. In overtime on the first set of downs he came out and hit that 16 yarder to Keller with a great pass.

Favre really played within himself and was great.

I agree with Z, it looked like Favre was under orders to not fight for extra time under pressure. Weird choice of teams to do this against, the Pats pass rush is not very fast.

As to Keller's big game, I'm calling crystal ball on this one. I think they drafted Keller to play the Pats and they threw to him a lot in the Rams game to get him ready for this game.

What I truly hope is, either Kellen or BR are learning from "The Master". If Farve is ready for the farm after this year is over, I really think that both of our young Qb's couldn't have possibly been in a better classroom than the sidelines watching and learning..

One of the first people that Favre hugged was Ratliff. The kid is always around him learning. We may have an heir apparent that is inactive at the start of every game.

watching ratliff in the preseason some of his passes just seemed like favre. i think hes benefiting the most from having favre around. they seem to have become actual friends, not just associates like favre and clemens. im gonna be hoping that a little of the favre magic rubs off on ratliff before its all said and done.

For a kid like Rat this has to be a dream come true, he was an average college QB but found himself onto an NFL roster. Now he is teammates with one of the guys he probably grew up idolizing. It's probably similar for Clemmons as when he was a kid playing in high school and youth football the NFL was Brett Favre. I'm sure both these guys are benefiting hugely from his presence. It's an entirely different situation than in Green Bay, the writing was on the wall that Thompson wanted him out and with the Jets they basically gave up the keys to the franchise to him with the hope that he could make them relevant if it was only for just this one season.
