i have to post in this thread. as a guy who has not been the biggest dustin keller fan all year when he dropped that td i nearly choked him through the tv. he definitely came up HUGE in this game though and deserves to be given a tremendous amount of credit. great job!!!!

The most impressive thing he did was that lunge for the 1st down on the 3rd and 15. He was 1 yard short and had the presence of mind to fight for the extra yard.

He is going to be a great player for this team.

    Dustin Keller.

Not only did you help the Jets. But I showed faith in you by starting you on my fantasy football team.

this is what i was just about to say, that was HUGE and he proved that his size is an advantage as he bowled over that guy without even realizing he was going to be hit when he was.

huge huge huge play to get those 2 extra yards.

"he has tremendous talent"...."he doesn't even know how good he is"

    Didn't Favre say that?

I've been trying to tell you guys that Favre's best years of the 90s were anchored by strong TE play (Chmura and Jackson), and ever since preseason saying that it looked like Keller could work out the same for Favre.

As I said earlier this week, feeding Keller on a consistent basis is going to open this offense up for Coles and Cotchery. Collinsworth called it out on the game-winning drive.

The Jets have the weapons... between Keller, Cotchery, Coles and Washington, somebody's going to open or single covered, Favre just needs to recognize that guy. He did a great job on the last drive.

As Christopher Walken would say, "We need more Cowbell." That's what I'm calling for, that's what this offense needs...more Keller.

Dustin Keller is getting my official player of the game honors.

He gets to be in my avatar until next weeks game...unless he lights it up again.

I dont have enough posts to make my own thread yet, I believe part of great drafting is having a plan and implementing it, I believe we have decided that we move up and move around in the draft and take the player best at his position, if that means passing on the 5th rated DE to take the NO 1 TE lets look at it was revis considered a bit of where we took him "yes" was he the cover corner yes so did we take him higher then some had him on board yes but he was the best at what he did- this is the same case with Harris best middle LB, we did it with Keller best TE down the line, I like this mentality and I believe it is working , we are in the right direction and won a game we lose everytime in our history
