How would the bad weather not favor us? Watch Brett Favre much? Plus we already have been excellent in forcing turnovers.
steve mariucci brought up an interesting point. he was saying......."if.......I mean, when it rains. wait, Matt Cassell hasnt played in rain before has he? Oh wait he didnt play in college. Does it rain in Southern California? No. Oh, well did he play in rain so far this year? No......thatll be interesting to see" rain was the benefactor to us last time we beat them so i think its a legit point. we'll see all we really need to do is win the turnover margin.
this calls for Thomas Jones to prove hes not a fluke...he needs to have over 100 yds rushing to take pressure off favre...the last thing we need is favre throwing passes in the torrential rain...not only is favre old and his vision impaired, but the rain makes for worse vision...we need to right THOMAS the TANK ENGINE to the endzone
I think it will be a light rain but steady all through the game. So everything and everybody will be completely soaked.
Nov. 13 - 6:03 pm et The rainfall has ceased in Foxborough for Thursday night's Jets-Patriots clash and continued precipitation during the game is now considered "questionable." However, NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports another cloud is on its way and it's supposed to contain rain. The field doesn't look to be in tip-top shape, but several players are warming up and BenJarvus Green-Ellis didn't seem impeded at all during some sprints down the sideline.
That's the weirdest weather report I've ever heard. Hey guys, heads up, a bra is heading this way, and it contains boobs.
They jsut said Favre is 6-2 in games when it is under 44 and raining. So at least he has experience in it. The other QB, not so much.
