I'm not a big Peter King fan and he clearly is infatuated with the Patriots (His past two Monday Morning QBs along with his nbc.com weekly spot last week confirm his awkward obsession with the Pats ). However, in all honesty, I don't see anything wrong with what he wrote about Chad . . . saying that Chad (when healthy) is a top ten quarterback is certainly not unreasonable. (Although, I don't think I agree with it, myself)

My top ten in no particular order, other than the order that I thought of them in . . .

1) Tom Brady
2) Peyton Manning
3) Drew Brees
4) Eli Manning
5) Ben Rothlesburger
6) Brett Favre
7) Carson Palmer
8) Matt hasselback
9) Tony Romo (overrated but definately a top 5 talent)
10) Donovan McNabb (he's overrated and it's certainly open for debate whether he even should be in the top 10.)

I would say Pennington would fall somewhere within the next 5 places, along with guys like (again, in no particular order) . . . Jay Cutler (although he is closing in on being a top 10 QB by the end of the season), Phillip Rivers (another guy closing in on the top 10 but I think is a bit overrated, myself), and Kurt warner (Still a dynamic passer). I personally think I would take all thre of these guys over Chad if I had to win a big game and needed to pick a QB (especially Cutler), however, it is probably not unreasonable to suggest otherwise.
