There is a ridiculous argument going around that we would have the same record with Chad at QB! It's amazing how quickly the collective consciousness forgets! Does anyone really think that we would have scored as many points as we have with Chad instead of Brett. When was the last time we lead the AFC East in points! When was the last time we were 2nd in the AFC in points scored! Anyone really think that would be possible with Chad at QB! Favre is a legend for a reason. He's a winner. He gets the team in the end zone a high percentage of the time. He leads by example. He's never hurt. Enough said.

We had one guy named George Jetson that 'loved and supported' Brooks Bollinger beyond the bounds of believability. He started threads about Bollywood, his sig said From Clipboard To Canton, and he was a total fake Jets fan that supported the Jets openly. He was also wayyyyyy funnier than you.

There's no way to compare the two in this season -- Chad's past comes from much worse Jets lines, and Brett's past comes from much different Packers' lines. Both were good and bad at different times and in different ways. As far as Chad and Brett -- Brett has a better arm but takes more chances, Chad is really smart but he has a weak arm and has been hurt often as compared to Ironman. This year, Chad's doing pretty good in the situation he's in, and Brett's doing pretty good in the situation he's in. You guys who are trying to compare differnet realities from different times are whistling Dixie, as far as I'm concerned.
Can't we just come up with a name to support all Jets Quarterbacks past and present, because that's what a true Jets fan does, supports the Jets quarterback. How about a name like: Joe Ken Penodaverdesonvre I think that would eliminate the need to start useless threads like this...hey, a guy can hope, right?
How can anyone even compare Chad to Bret. As good as Chad can be he is no where on the level that Bret is.
