If you are there exactly at 12 PM on Friday...you will be there a Day early...that should be good enough to get you in...

Wow. I always thought I could show up at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning to get in. It sounds as if spending Friday night on line is the way to go.

At least it's at Radio City this year. I used to work in Rockerfeller Center. It's a much nicer neighborhood than MSG's in. The Variety Cafe on 49th ST and 6th is open all night if you guys need food. Good luck getting in.

I'll be watching it on my couch with beer and rosary beads in hand!

Its actually beneficial that we are like 3 and a half hours away...I can catch some Z's on the bus ride up to NY...that way I can just stay awake for most of the night...

Sounds like we will have a tough time getting in. We should arrive there by 1 am at the latest, which is almost 12 hours in advance. Hopefully that is enough to get us in the big room, can't really make it any earlier than that. I may have to leave work early on Friday to get some shit ready. I can't wait!

its not 12 hours in advance, its more like 6 hours. They give our the wrist bands at about 7am, then you can leave and come back around noon to get it.

You guys have inspired me. I'm leaving for the draft right now. Screw work, family & obligations- GO JETS. By my count I will be several hundred hours early, so I should be OK.

Actually planning to keep myself busy around the house for the first few hours of the draft, the rewind the DVR and cut out some of the unnecessary downtime...

When I used to go (Last time was about 4 years ago) It was 1st come 1st serve and I believe it still is.

They give you a wristband and you form another line inside where upon entry they give you a little bag with goodies.
You find a seat and make fun of the 4 Giants fans who tried to "take over" this year again.

Then when the Jets pick it gets Quiet and after the pick their is a mumble because we pick someone no one knows about. (Thomas, Brady) Then the Roars start, people throw their free baggies in the garbage and leave pissed!

BTW, They usually have a consession stand open but JETS fans wait til after the pick for obvious reasons.

    :shit:

What the heck are you talking about? Radio City has 5,910 seats...how many did the other places have?

  18. Maybe we can set up some sort of GG get together that includes a nice fellow saving some spots in line for a few of us.

I was planning on getting there at like 430 am to get in..now Im thinkin 1-2 am is the better bet.

I was planning on going until I found out that I had a Yankee game I had to attend that day. I have gone before and I arrived at 2 a.m and I got in. It's a cool experience for people who want to go. I just hope I can Tivo the draft and make it through the Yankee game and drive home without finding anything out.
