Where and how do I get tickets to the NFL draft in Radio City on April 29-30. I called Radio City and got transferred to TicketMaster. Since the tickets are free, the guy I spoke with didn't know what venue I was talking about.
Type "draft" into the search bar- there is a pretty hefty thread on this so far and you should find all of the information needed within... * Nevermind, I did the same and was hit with 20 pages. From what's been posted on here thus far, you show up the day of, VERY EARLY. Priority goes to teams and players, league officials, etc. The next in line are those who attended the draft last year, on both days, and received some type of card/ticket allowing them to enter for this year. Then comes you along with the rest of the guys waiting outside in the cold for hours on end. I know people who went last year, arrived at 6AM thinking that they wouldn't have a problem getting in, and the line was closed well before they made it to the front. If you are a die-hard and really want to be there, do everything in your power to get there as early as possible. Also note that it's at Radio City this year- not the Garden or Javits. Hope this helps...
Me, my brother and a friend will be heading up Friday night before the draft. We will be taking a bus out of MD around 7pm and will arrive in New York around 11-12. I plan on getting in line as soon as we get there. We will bring some snacks, some pillows and blankets and pray that it doesn't rain that day. I've never been and want to make sure I get in there. Quick Question, do they care if you bring in backpacks? Do they serve beer and food inside??
I doubt they serve food... I am going to bring a one person tent. Fuck you and Josh. I think I am may even bring a TV...tons of pillows and blankets and do mocks until I vomit. Heck, Maybe I will even bring Kate and make it a party in their. Having said all that I will wind up sleeping beside a trash can on some street corner in NY. It will rain and temperatures will drop. Could possibly make out with a homeless or man...or ya know get raped by one. Have my money stolen by the homeless man as well, BUT AT LEAST I WOULD BE THERE FOR THE DRAFT! WOOO
Quite honestly, I'd pass. It seems to me that one would be sitting there waiting on picks more than anyting.
listen guys i went to the draft last year and i got there at around 4 am on saturday and i only got into the "draft central" room see i am not goign into that fuckin room again because the only good part was meeting vilma and him signing my #51 jersey. This year i am planning on arriving at radio city at around 3 or 4 oclock on friday so i can actually get in, u think that is enough time?
I say take Thursday and Friday off work, camp out on Wednesday night, and then it's a lock.. My god, I couldn't even imagine camping out, even 1 night, to go to the draft, but I can respect thsoe who do as dedicated fans.
So you are basically going to be waiting in line a FULL DAY longer...are you prepared to do something like that?
No no no...if he is there Wednesday night, he will be the only person there/...thats like 60 hours early?
yea wednesday night i will look like an idiot, do u guys think friday afternoon is good? or earlier, cut school?
