Polamalu has missed his share of tackles this year. My guess it's related to his nagging injury, which they've been vague about (ankle- or achillles-related). He comes in at a million miles an hour but probably doesn't have the ability to change direction quite as fast. Truth be told though, TP's always had some missed tackles like the ones he had against Baltimore. He almost plays too fast sometimes.

That said, I'm happy he's back and we're a much more dynamic team with him obviously. He made huge, game-changing plays several times this year, and I'm sure your coaching staff and Sanchez will make sure to be aware of him at all times...even if he's not truly 100%.
