I had totally forgotten. I haven't even seen the movie yet. I did start Force Unleashed the other day though. The action is awesome, but the game overall is "Eh" to me. There's just something missing, and I can't figure out what it is.
Does this take place after the Clone Wars movie? I'm assuming so. I'll give it a shot if I'm home. I went with my sister-in-law, niece and nephew to see the movie in the theaters when it came out. My 2 1/2 nephew slept through the whole thing, but my niece loved it. I hated the baby Hutt, the uncle, and pretty much most of the story. The action was pretty good for a cartoon though, I'll admit. I know they made it cheesy to appeal to kids, but as a Star Wars fanboy, it was just too much for my taste.
Finally!!! I've been dying to read it! I've been playing Force Unleashed. Only on Raxis Prime so far, but just picked up the Gold lightsaber crystal. I haven't bothered to see the Clone Wars episodes yet, but my son recorded them. Haven't seen the movie yet either. Honestly, from the commercials, I'm just not that interested.
It's really good. I'm about half way done. Just haven't had time to pick it back up lately. I am going to watch the cartoons in the next few days. I have it on DVR.
Any chance of those being available online for viewing? I know the primetime shows on other channels do it, just not sure if this is like that. I was helping my brother move this weekend so I missed it.
Has anyone been watching the cartoons? I'm doing a marathon on sunday morning, but from what I have seen so far they look freaking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My son watched the first couple last weekend. I fell asleep before Anakin even appeared on screen. That shit looks terrible. Lucas can bite a cock.
The new one's. I put them on DVD yesterday morning. I did a marathon. Alio - The stories are great. I find myself getting really involved with each story and I think the animation is done really well too.
Okay you're on. I will get working on them this week. There are 5 episodes. The next episode isn't airing until next Friday. If you won't get to watch those, i'll send you another disc with 5 more episodes on them.
Bleh. I won't insult you because I guess it's a matter of taste, but I think the CGI is garbage, and I have zero desire to watch. Like I said, I literally fell asleep in front of the tv and then had to hear my son with his "You missed a great show Dad!" Thanks, but no thanks. Now give me Force Unleashed on tv, and I'll watch all day. The cinematics in that game were worth the price of the game alone.
Okay I gotcha. Not sure why you would need to insult me anyway, but thanks for not. I still haven't played/bought Force Unleashed!! WTF is wrong with me!!!!!
That came out wrong. I meant it more like "I'm not going to call you crazy for liking what you like." The "crazy" part being insulting. (Hope that makes more sense.) This is what I'll say about Force Unleashed. If you like just playing mindless "wreck everything in sight" games, this game is for you. If you're looking for a good script, good voice acting, and a deep and engaging storyline, go elsewhere. It's all about using Force Lightning in every imaginable situation. It's loads of fun for me, but I was a bit disappointed by the parts beyond the action. Also, if you like AI that challenges you, forget it. FU (just got that, LoL) simply throws more enemies at you as an obstacle. Once you figure out how to beat something, it's harder not to beat it than to rip it to shreds. (Though I never get tired of destroying the biggest baddies, but I won't ruin the surprises for you.) If you've played it, this game is just like Overlord. I guess the developers of both games figured "Hey, it's enough fun to just be a bad guy, who needs decent scripts?" Something to keep on your radar, if you like RPGs. Bioware is developing a MMORPG set in the Old Republic. It will be the Old Republic vs. the Sith Empire. Looks very promising, and I've loved every Bioware game I've played so far. Tomorrow is Bane in softcover! Gotta get that! The author, Drew Karpyshynn (sp?) is actually an employee of Bioware. I just finished another book by him which was the second Mass Effect novel he's written. (He was the lead writer on the first game, and is on the second as well. If I'm not mistaken, he was also the lead writer for Knights of the Old Republic. He's not the greatest novel writer ever, but I love his work on Bioware games.) Okay, enough OTness for one post.
You'll have to forgive me, I'm still on edge (or on the ledge) from yesterday's game. I can't even go into the Jets forum right now because I may end up banning myself. The second Bane book is very good. i've gotten half way thru it so far. I'm surprised that the script for Force Unleashed isn't that good. That's one of the main reasons why I wanted it so badly. I'm still going to get it though.
