Makes you wonder if they are trying to end Favre's career. Defense, wow. What defense? At least when we couldn't stop the run their was an excuse, we were too small up front, no good run-stoppers, whatever. There are absolutely no excuses this season.

Yes it was. Favre was not struggling like this against Arizona, and they didn't have the worst run D in the league. When your offense is sucking wind like today, you need to get a first down and keep the chains moving.
Not to mention that we need to consider the situations. Against Arizona: The Jets were winning 41-28 with under ten minutes to go in the fourth quarter. It was fourth and one, and the Jets were in no man's land at the Cardinals' 40 yard line. Against KC: The Jets were losing 17-14 with less than nine minutes to go in the third. It was third and one, and they were on their own 37. That's not when/where you take a shot.
The top 2 reasons why the last 2 games were shitty.... Didn't run enough, didn't use play-action after establishing a hard-nose running attack. OAK= didn't go to the run early enough, and play a smash-mouth game against a team that is easily beatable. Run early and often, that game is 21-13. KC= Passed more than threw.... AGAINST THE WOST RUN DEFENSE IN THE NFL. Do you see why the CS needs to be removed... obvious shit a fan can point out, and its not being done due to egos and self-involved morons. Look, the Jets killed the Raiders on the ground. Oakland stayed in the game because Farve sucked, frankly. Playcalling is overrated. Execute, and it's easy to look like a playcalling genius. Fail to execute, and the playcaller looks like a moron.

It's crazy right? ZOMG that call didn't work I KNEW it wouldn't...fuckin couch coach bullshit.
