Job security for these guys is putting playmakers on the field. I doubt he really has anything on anyone.
You would think an NFL Team Doctor job would require a little more qualification, in my opinion. Shouldn't we go after the ones that actually get into the US Med Schools?
That in and of itself shouldn't matter. Plenty of excellent Dr.'s go to offshore med school's. I know a couple that have done/developed groundbreaking procedures for heart surgery and research....etc etc. No what should bother everyone is that..... 1.) He lied several times on his resume and peer reviewed papers. 2.) Is a fucking Rheumatist, WTF is he doing in an important sports medecine position? 3.) Is a complete jackass that put several players in peak physical condition in position to die in their 30's-40's-50's without any regard for future health......... I can go on and on and on and on, if you want to add to the list go for it!
Dr. Kevin Montgomery spearheads the Jets Medical department. Pellman is just one of the doctors. As an MD who did go to a US medical school, I have to agree with this statement. As one of the above posters mentioned, good doctors have come from foreign medical schools. But they were frequently citizens of the country in which they attended school. In nearly all circumstances, US citizens who go abroad to medical school are simply not qualified enough to get accepted to an American medical school. His actions as the Jets team MD further support the notion that this applies to Pellman. It baffles me that he was able to get a job with the Jets. How did he get hired in the first place?
