Lot of opinion no fact.. meh - but those two times worn are 2 wins in a row. How about they wear them all season and go 12-4?
Sorry, was lazy ... link Umm ... just what kind of "facts" about a uniform's aesthetics do you expect?
As much as I dislike the Jets Titans uniforms, I just cannot take fashion advice from an NFL player with a straight face.
How about we don't? I can't stand those things, you can't see the numbers from the stands and I'm sitting down low. One of the best things about the Jets has always been the green and white unis, I'm pretty sure we'd have played the same way the past two games in regular Jet uniforms.
I like the Giants current/old look. The shit they had in the 80s/90s was awfully bland, their helmets always looked like the SNICKERS wrapper to me.
I love the Snickers wrapper comparison. You are so right about the Giants current unis. I think they are among the best in the league. I hate the ultra-modern look so many teams are adopting these days. The Falcons, Vikings, and others don't even resemble football uniforms. Can you imagine Unitas, Starr, or Namath wearing those travesties?
I was ecstatic when Parcells brought back the AFL style unis. Only trouble is, he dicked around with the color. The Jets should wear KELLY green, as Werblin intended.
The all black Raven's are my favorite besides the Jets Green on White... plus whats with his obsession with black cleats? Unless you have black in your uniforms black cleats look retarded IMO... I was so much happier when the Jets wore white cleats... The guy just sounds like a douche... maybe the league should go back to leather helmets too...
In addition to all the other things I hate about the Jets throwback uniforms, they actually throw all the way back to a different team with a different name, no other franchise is stupid enough to do this. The Ravens don't have Browns throwbacks. The Raiders don't have Oakland Senors throwbacks.
They should have made that rule for every team who moved. We would still have the Baltimore Colts, Houston Oilers and St. Louis Cardinals. Indy and Arizona would have had to come up with their own names which would have been more representative of their cities/states.
