agreed..Vick is a fucking cunt with a bad attitude....and should burn in hell for what he did to those dogs. But he's got skills...and with the correct "coaching"....he could live up to his potential.
I don't think Mora or Reeves used Vick correctly....to say he's a bad QB is incorrect in my opinion. If he could polish his pocket passing game....he COULD be a Steve Young type.

I watch plenty of football and I would never confuse Pennington for Vick. Pennington IS a QB... Vick only perpetrates a fraud by lining up in the position. Not only was he (Vick) horrible, he wasn't getting better as a pocket passer. Running QB's while fresh and exciting do not last in this league unless they learn to be great pocket passers. See Randall Cunningham and Donovan McNabb. The Mike Vick's and Vince Young's (and I'm not completely sure Vince is a bust yet) will never live up to their hype. Like bottle rockets.. flash - BANG. Show's over. Now somehow you believe in the pipe dream that after years of sitting in a cell this guy can come back to the league and be redeemable? Personally, I don't think he has the character to do it, but besides that he lacks the intelligence.

I'm in the ATL so they are still talking about him. He is still under contract with the Falcons and they are saying he might get out in Feb/March. There is speculation that he may still have to serve a suspension from the NFL. (most are assuming a 1 year, but no one knows). Everyone down here is assuming the falcons will trade him based on how well Matt Ryan is playing. Probably to whomever needs a QB and is willing to give up a 1st or 2nd round pick. He is almost definitely done in the ATL though. He also will not be a RB or WR. There are plenty of teams in need of a good QB and regardless of what his numbers were, he won a lot of games without much help from his WR, O-line, or defense for that matter
A 1st or 2nd round pick is dreaming. Atlanta can only hope someone out there is that dumb to pay that price... oh, wait. Al Davis may be still kicking around. Maybe he'll become a Raider! Unless some FO commits professional suicide I'm betting it is a conditional pick where the level of compensation is on par with his and his teams performance. That would be the smart move if someone is going to trade for him.
1st or 2nd round pick?? Think first.... Plus, he IS done in the ATL - Matt Ryan has that team and is continuing to win over the franchise. He might get a speeding ticket, thats about it. Vick will be released, then some team might give him a tryout.

im not calling it racism, im just saying because he is fast does not mean he can play receiver. he is far to fragile to be a receiver. he was hurt all the time playing qb where he could limit the hits he took. vick over the middle to catch a pass while being hit? i dont think so. he will never be a wr in this league. he will probably never play qb in the league again. so he will probably never play again. he will be brought in tried out and cut by some teams though.
no worries, BM...i don't mind being in the minority on this one. I don't think Vick was utilized correctly in ATL...but that's just my opinion. He's still a fuckhead 'character wise'...but i think he's a talented fuckhead to some degree.
and that's my point...the potential is there for him to develop 'pocket passer type skills"...if he's "coached up" correctly.
