Just come up I95 over the Deleware Memorial bridge then the NJ Turnpike make sure when it splits take the western extension exit @ exit 15W & whammo the stadium is right in front of you
I am doing the same thing...so you went on e-bay and got the pass??? we are coming up from Florida and staying in Bridgewater,NJ
At least you guys are taking the initiative a week or so early. I like when guys post these threads 2 days before the game and then scramble around like chickens with no heads.
For clarification to championjets69's post, take exit 16W off the turnpike. 15W will take you to Newark.
Actually, champ did that on purpose. Nothing will please him more than seeing this team fail with as little people as possible in the stands cheering the team on. Even if it means giving newcomers the wrong directions to a place where there's a strong chance they may end up getting killed.
This is correct. After paying the toll, the highway will bend to the left for the next 1/4 mile. Follow the left-hand bend (do not get on Rte 3, which is a right-hand exit). At the next "intersection" (there will be guards there directing you left or right), you can take either of these turns depending on where your seats are. I'd take the right and go along the Stadium Club parking area and try to park around parking lot stanchion #16W or so, near Gate C. There's a couple of old green duece-and-a-half trucks there with a huge tailgate party. Parking here will also easily get you back onto Rte 3 east, which will take you back to the TNPK quickly after the game. Print this and mail me a check for $5.
I know which exit it is, I have driven it before, but I just like typing in an starting spot and an ending spot and Mapquest giving me directions.
The problem with Mapquest and other direction searches is, when it comes to a location like this, sometimes you get off-the-wall, cockamamie directions... "Take the Garden State Parkway north, exit onto Rte 3 West, enter the Turnpike at Exit 15W, get off at 16W..." Stuff like that. They have you going in circles. Print out my above post and mail me $5.
for the money you'd spend on a parking pass and for gas, you might as well just do the train and bus idea. i think it'll save you a couple bucks and some headaches.
Thanks but I have a pass now. This thread can be closed or title could be changed to: I have tickets+pass and directions now, I am set.
