When was the last time the Jets scored 56 or more. I cannot think of it.

Who cares? Didn't you hear? They gave up 35. They haven't given up that many points in almost a whole week!

They said towards the end of the game that the only time they topped that was 62 point vs. Tampa in 1985, making this the second highest point total in franchise history.

    Edit: ninja'd bigtime.

They have gone over 50 four times.

    62- vs Tampa Bay, 11-17-85
    56- vs Arizona, 9-28-08
    52- vs Houston, 9-18-66
    51- vs Miami, 9-21-86

It only took Favre 4 games with this offense to pull this off, what a pickup by the Jets!

Imagine with a week of rest for Favre's ankle, Coles' hammy, Jenkins' back...And more recognition of the playbook...

Anything less than 65 would be a disappointment.

Gee whiz, I wonder if having B Favre had anything to do with it?

Favre was a huge part...But so was Ferguson, Faneca, Mangold, Moore and Woody and lets not 4get that Coles, Cotchery, Baker, Keller and Thomas Jones all made plays for this Jets offesne. And how many TO's did our defense force today? 5 or 6? Without the D making plays, when they made plays, none of this would of happened...

Amazing game for Favre but the whole Jets offense played solid and you know what? Mangini and Marty's boy made some great calls

A year ago...in a different stadium....by a different QB, this was called "running-up the score" by Jets fans.

    A 3-TD win.... awesome, huh?

But isn't THAT running-up the score?

Frankly, I'm quite puzzled. Aren't you?

    REDSKINS WIN!!!

Running up the score? Did you see AZ shredding our D? No lead was safe.

Yeah. It could have easily wound up like the legendary O'Brien/Marino shootout of yesteryear..

Not really. It looked to me like - despite the problems on D - Favre had the game well in hand.

Not until the clock ran out! If it wasn't for 7 turnovers we lose this one. The 2 point conversion was a stretch I'll give you that.

Big difference is that Gibbs had waved the white flag and evidenced by Boldin being carted off the field with 30 seconds to go the Cardinals has not. O BTW Warner passed for 472 yards unlike Campbell of last year.

I don't remember the Houston game. But I do remember the Heidi Game against the Raiders in "68". And that's only because my Father and Uncle went Fucking crazy when they switched the program. And this was on a 14" black and white bought with S&H Plaid stamps. Or were they Green stamps?
