Seriously, anyone see him get a snap? How'd he look for those who saw him?

Looked like he got less PT than usual today. I saw him do the same old attempt at a pass rush I think 3 times total in the first half. Then I saw him standing next to the pile twice in the second half...

He was a total;ly wasted pick. We wanted McFadden which would have been good because Jones totally sucks too and I guess we couldn't trade down. Gholston won't be in the league in 3 years.

    We heard.

You can sit on that as long as you want...theres actual playing and developing to do (or not do) because we have an actual idea...you'll get to pat yourself on the back if you're right though...and if you're wrong well...who cares...either way you win....it's so easy to be negative...

I kind of think his lack of PT today could be a good thing heading into the Bye week.

Now, I never loved the pick, but I realize that IF he's ever gonna develop into a good player, it's gonna take time.... He is obviously not ready to be in the game yet, and he seemed overwhelmed, completely overlooking the little things in his game, in the first few games.

I think it's a positive that the CS kept him out of the game for the most part today.

Let him sit and learn, with the occasional 3rd and long, or garbage time snap...

Hopefully they're starting from square one with him....

I really hope your not serious with this comment.

The guys playing in front of him (Pace and Thomas) are having good starts.

    People need to RELAX.

wait til the 3rd year before you declare him a bust....hes making a very difficult switch from DE to OLB and getting limited playing time because the horrible bryan thomas is actually playing well...give him time and let him be coached

making a position change, moving to the nfl, and in a difficult position. Yea, lets jump all over him. he should be doing better but lets give him some time before we decide on bust.

    HA
    HAHAHA!

Holy lord, the idiocy of some people around here is unreal!

Please think a little bit...and if you did before posting this, just give up.

I could take the time to explain why you're completely incorrect, but it would be a waste of my time because understanding thsi game requires more than watching games and reading message boards.

  15. Actually w/ his size, skills and ability to put on muscle...I wouldnt be surprised to see him converted into a 3-4 DE. he has a great bull rush, and an extremely strong upper body...if he doesnt work at OLB...it's something to think about.

Just remember...brian Urlacher started his career at OLB and was ATROCIOUS. His career took off after the switch to MLB.

exactly thats why its so popular. all they do is predict bad things to happen. then if they do they can act all high and mighty about knowing everything. if they are wrong they can just say "oh im so happy i was wrong this is great!!!!"

kinda like what is happening in the favre thread. everyone just saying how happy they are that they were wrong about favre not gelling with the team.

He had a great bullrush in college.. In the pros he has tried to bullrush, and been physically dominated, several times.

He NEEDS to learn some passrushing moves...

  18. Relax, dude.

I'm in no way complimenting his play this far. All i'm saying is...he has alot tools to work w/...and w/ his frame...he maybe a good fit at 3-4 DE....where he can not only stand up against the run...but can take better advantage of his bull rush(which yes does need some refining)and not have to worry so much about developing other pass rush moves, and pass coverage.

He look fluid and comfortable on special teams. Made a nice tackle too. He looked like a football player instead of a thinker out there. His development will take a year and a half. I can wait.
