Will this pass the vote? I'm giving up Perry Moss, the team with Brown literally has 6/14 players on BYE including, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Ronnie Brown, Seahawks defense. our rosters are ME Romo...Campbell Adrian Peterson...Chris Perry...Kevin Smith...Michael Pittman L Fitzgerald...TJ Housh...Santana Moss...Jericho Cotchery...Eddie Royal Witten Mason Crosby Jaguars His McNabb, Favre Tomlinson...Ronnie Brown...Willis McGahee...Maroney Reggie Wayne...Calvin Johnson Gates...Ben Watson S Graham Seahawks...Bills
I wouldn't do this deal if I were you. I do not think that Brown is an upgrade over Perry. For Perry/Moss I would want a player like Forte.
Still yet, when Perry Housh go on bye week 10, I'm fucked. Moss, witten, romo, campbell, PERRY, Housh, all out week 10 for me...
So, if all of those other guys are out for you, what will having Ronnie instead of Perry do? You might lose by 20 instead of 30. Either way its still a loss. You can worry about week 10 when it gets closer. I wouldn't make a bad trade just to help with a bye week in the future. Who knows, by week 10, you may all ready have a playoff spot all locked up. Then, you'd get pissed that you made a bad trade for a week that didn't even matter.
First of all, that is an absolutely terrible trade. Don't do it. It would help you at the RB position, but at too much for too little. You are deep at WRs...Royal might be the guy to pair with Perry to ship off, netting you a solid RB of TJ's calibre and a decent WR5, or a #1 RB and you could fill the other WR with a waiver guy. Shop around for a better deal. I have a theory that it's better to just totally tank it for a week and have all your prime guys for the other 12, so don't let the byes affect the deal too much.
Wow, seems like it hasn´t gotten around already, that Santana Moss is a absolute Stud this year. He´s the #2 WR in standard scoring #1 in PPR thus far. And Chris Perry could become what Rudi was for the last few years, now that Cincy O seems to slowly get rolling. Be happy, that would have been a bad trade for you.
First of all, the fact that there are conflicting views within your fantasy league PROVES it is a fair trade. That's what a fair trade is. Each person thinks he's getting the better end of the deal. Like I said, IMO you'd be getting ripped off, but that is arguable, which makes it a valid trade. And what the fuck kind of micro-managed league are you in where you can't make reasonable trades? I'd be pissed. Trade Vetos are there to prevent collusion and to prevent noobs from getting taken advantage of...not so everyone in the league can exercise their faux-executive powers.
Your league is full of idiots. Ronnie Brown is never going to have a game like that again the rest of his career. He's not worth either guy you are offering for him, let alone both.
