So that means Revis had an immaculate game against a top 5 NFL offense.... All Pro.

Springs is still playing at a high level.
    Rogers is up-and-down.
    Smoot is good.
Torrence is not a bad backup.

As for the safeties, Landry is very good. Doughty is not good. Horton and Moore are okay backups.

I think the Redskins secondary is comparable to the Jets secondary.

They played in Maryland on Sunday and are staying on the east coast. Meanwhile, the Jets played in California and have one less day to prepare for this matchup.
    Advantage- Cardinals

Exactly. Thats exactly what I'm trying to say Cakes. The skins secondary hung in there and they got the win, we can do the same.

So because Lowery made a GREAT play and laid out his body to tip that pass away, you hold it against him? Nobody is catching that pass in the NFL, Lowery swatted it away PERFECTLY.

He got burned once in the game...

For a 4th round rookie...I'll take that bro. He has been stellar thus far.

I still want to hear he was burned "several times."

    Go ahead.

2-15 on the east coast over the last 5 years, 0-1 this year. This is a game that we should win at home if we are going to have any shot this year.

The Cardinals coaching staff is very impressive to me. I would not be surprised at all if they thoroughly outcoach the Jets staff on Sunday.

The Jets secondary is really going to be tested. This will be their first game in 2008 vs a QB who has a big arm, is normally quite accurate, and can throw the ball deep.
I expect the Cardinals to operate out of a 4-receiver set quite a bit. Big tight end Pope will be one of those receivers.

Also, do not be surprised to see cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie run a few go routes. He has already done this. He had the corner beat in Week 1, but Warner horribly underthrew the pass.

Yeah, and only three of those were in the Whisenhunt era. They played two tight games in Maryland last year. They lost by 5 points combined.
However, they did play terribly in Tampa Bay, although they only lost by a score of 17-10.

Yeah Lowery made a nice play on his ball. And I think he's been great for us... I love his instincts.

All I was implying was that Lowery got beat on a couple of passes (those two long passes specifically)... he was trailing Jackson by a couple of yards on both those plays. Fortunately he was able to recover on one of those plays.

Hopefully Lowery can hold his own against Boldin but playing against an agressive, physical receiver who can beat him at the L.O.S is going to be a tall task... hopefully he's up for it.

The Panther-on-Panther battle of Fitzgerald vs Revis is going to be interesting to watch. I watch most Cardinals games and I am still waiting to see any cornerback consistently handle Fitzgerald. Marcus Trufant has played him tough a few times, but nobody does it consistently.

You think Kotite could outcoach these guys...they're not exactly killing high standards here.

The Cardinals coaching staff hasn't done anything the Jets coaching staff hasn't done...they just happen to look really good right now. Wnaho here was lauding the Cardinals coaching staff last year?

I agree that they're going to kill us with Pope. I thought Vincent Jackson would burn us at one point, simply cause we have *no one* to cover him unless we want to make it easy for is Chambers or Gates...and he did. Pope is big and athletic. Pace is going to have to blanket him, and I think he can do it.

We're fucked with whoever they put on whoever Revis isn't covering. I'm leaving that one up to the team to work on.

Their D is so underrated...it clicked for a little last year...this year they're healthy...I love the talent on that D...Dansby...Wilson might be the only safety I like as much as Rhodes...Dockett...Watson...Rolle is coming into his own...Berry...Okefar...

Really similar storyline to us...maybe a little more talented but I don't think overwhelmingly so...they've been together as a group at least 2 years so that helps...I expect a really, really good game from both sides.

    Besides me? I don't know.

    I prefer Wilson over Rhodes.

They have Travis LaBoy playing Pace's old role and he is playing well.

Rod Hood is picking up where he left off in 2007 as a solid corner.

Me. I forgot that was you.

Wilson's a beast, and yea....he's Rhodes on steroids...but Rhodes has been juicing the past couple of years...wow that was corny.

Unless our defense plays much better I don't see how we can outscore the Cardinals. Even if Revis takes away one of their wideouts, the other one will make plays. Arizona is no joke this year.

only shitty thing is he'll go unnoticed cause he won't get 10 interceptions or any pass defense's cause they won't throw there
