This is why all NFL games should be played in a dome. Those girls are going to be wearing parkas by mid November. And for those of you complaining: STFU, it's about time the Jets had cheerleaders, even if they look like they're adding a few pounds to fight off the winter winds.

I do just fine... but for a professional sport team's cheerleaders look like this is kinda comical if you ask me. I'm all for em but dayum dress em up better than that.
At least someone needs to tell them that when the JETS are LOSING at the end of the 4th qtr is NOT the time for the smile and wave dance like they just scored a touchdown......

Sorry man I have to disagree. I went to a Packers game years ago in Lambeau in December and as much as I love football I hated that game. The human body is not meant to sit in 18 degree weather for 3+ hours. There is no other bad weather sport that makes it's fans sit through blizzards, freezing rain storms, wind chill that approaches 20 below, etc. All the northern teams should be in domes. And realistically most of the southern ones should as well because sitting in 85 degree heat with 60% humidity is no picnic either.
the pictures don't show the whole team. The banner above NYJ.com has some girls on there. But the ones posted are not elite. Cute, but not elite. Teams that play in the south or west coast usually embarrass the other teams cheerleaders. They have a better talent base to chose from.

Maybe it's just the camera angles, but.... damn. They really don't seem to pull off the 'slutty girlscout' look too well.
They do look like they wear diapers, and the uniforms are lame, but having cheerleaders is always better than no cheerleaders. They should go with the naughty schoolgirl look that would be much better.
