Is anyone else tired of seeing him on the sidelines rolling his eyes with that "Will these idiots ever get it right" look on his face? Or better yet mouthing "you gotta be f**** kidding me". I mean I understand how he's feeling, because I'm doing the same thing while I'm watching it, but he is the H.C. This now his third year running the ship and this is his team. These are now mostly his players, and it's his system. He can't be standing there acting like he's better than this and the players are letting him down. I still think the guy is probably a great and possibly brilliant football mind, but he needs to get that leadership stuff together. Teams take on the personality of their H.C. and to me he needs to man up a little bit.
The problem with Mangini is he thinks he's coaching the Patriot's 3x SB champions and can't be wrong. It's time for this guy to step up and play to win a game and not be satisfied with a game you lost by only 9 points.
His rendition of Belichek is really beginning to piss me off. I hate seeing his fatass patrolling the sidelines chomping on his gum while his team either eeks out a win against nobodies or gets smacked up and down the field by quality competition. Its already f'n old folks..
If Mangini was standing around being a stoic example of a good loser then he'd be getting dumped on for that as well. If the team doesn't win it doesn't matter to most people around here what he's doing. He's simply wrong in their minds. It's either win or GTFO. Pretty short-sighted when we are only 2 games into the season.
Mangini will be a very good coach... He will tank with the Jets (BB did just that while he was at Cleveland). When he gets fired, he will go back to any coach with Parcells lineage, and be a DC for a while - and that will take probably good 10-12 years, by the way. When he's through this, he'll be ready to be a winner, and he'll coach the Patriots to crush the Jets. Typical Jets luck.
All young coaches do well with either the team that hired them or the one they move on to... can't wait to see what happens with him.
Herm used to walk up and down the sidelines clapping his hands while his teams slowly sank into the mush that was the football field. I didn't like that picture either. Jetzz, we're only 2 games into the season and what do we see? The same old crap we saw last year. Another slow start for a team that can't afford slow starts. The same old timid playcalling. Yeah, I'm on the win now bandwagon because after 40 years, I'm tired of this shit. Mangini has been given a pass up until late last year. Now that the honeymoon is over, we're gonna see what fatboy is made of. If he can turn this team around, great. If not, he needs to move along and let somebody else take a shot at it.

Preferrably someone that isn't a part of the New England coaching tree as well. I'm really fckn done with clones..
Only 14 more games of seeing that moron on the sidelines at all. Maybe we can hire Holmgren’s equipment manager for out next coach and wonder what went wrong.
I really think that even if we tank this year and go 5-11, he should be allowed at least one more year. He's a young coach. Imagine if we get bellicheked on this one and he goes on to win a few championships down the line. I will be HELLA pissed off
Cool - now we're going to critique and analyze our HC's appearance on the sideline as if it has some kind of impact on how good/bad of a coach he is. Have you guys seen what a tool Belichick looks like on the sideline?
Mangini's never going to coach in the NFL again after he leaves the Jets. He wasn't a good DC and was only a decent DB coach because he had the best DB coach of all time looking over his shoulder and telling him where he was screwing up. The spygate thing sunk him. Parcells won't hire him, Belichik won't hire him, Crennel won't hire him, and neither will anybody else. He's coaching for his professional career here. East Bumfuck State is the next stop on his itinerary.
It isn't the same crap from last year. There are improvements. And to some extent you have to give the new QB some time to acclimate and adjust. I don't know how anyone could expect us to be elite out of the gate. Not with the number of changes we made to various units in one year to the next.
I don't necessarily believe all that spygate doomsday bs with Mangini. However, if and when he does get the boot from here, I have a gut feeling that he'll end up in the college ranks.
3 runs into a big d line you got to be kidding same old predictable jets the cast changes but the play is still the same
Question; Why did the goofy MF bring in the sexy signings, bolster the line hire callahan AND get Farve the gunslinger, only to get Hermanistically conservative with unlockable handcuffs........ stupid shit.... I'm gettin' tired of this shit, and I been around awhile......
I know everyone on this board hates my guts but this is the best post I've ever read on here. My hatred is for fatboy Mangini and his rat bastard personna. Here's a guy who owes everything he's accomplished to the opportunity Belichick gave him as a friggin ballboy in Cleveland and he betrayed him. Mangini literally does EVERYTHING in the mold of Belichick and your telling me the one thing he decided not to do was tape the opposition? Come on now. And who you do think Belichick learned taping from? Maybe the fat tuna down in Miami? I hope Mangini is selling sporting goods in three years. And to be honest I could care less if the Jets win 10 superbowls after that.
I've been saying for a long time that I don't trust Manweenie. His first season was a fluke, and he won with the previous regime's players. The most irritating thing to me is how he whines before he answers a question he doesn't like during his press conferences. And yeah, it's also ridiculous how he acts on the sidelines... But when the team, wins he's all, "Golly gee, me and my family celebrated the game with ice cream and pie!" I can only imagine how he gets on the players' nerves... STILL... The Jets are 1-1, there's a lot of talent on the team and there's a lot of football to be played. Mangini usually corrects a lot of mistakes during the bye week, and that's just a few weeks away. There are a lot of new faces on this team and they need time to gel.
If he goes 5-11 with this team and this schedule, he should be chased out of NY/NJ with pitchforks and lanterns. No reason not to be 10-6--at least.
I don't hate your guts, cuz. I hate your skin, bones, muscles, and nervous tissue. Just kidding:wink:
