I know its early....but I have a bad feeling about him. We all know how he likes to change his mind, and god forbid things don't go his way will he go into a shell? I really feel that he will be one year and out with us
So if he plays one year he plays one year. Boo-hoo...I'm not looking at 2009 for shit. Worry about NOW.
He'd be 1 yr and out with any team, but he wants to play and win... when he was pissed about the Pats calling the timeout before Brett could get the play off it showed that intensity and fire is still there... as long as he is allowed to throw the ball down the field and be Brett Favre he'll be fine... I'm afraid that the CS is going to ruin that.. Schotty is like his father-- doesn't do enough to win the game. MartyBall is now BrianBall. But neither have a pair.
Farve got to play 4 minutes of a game - result...Touchdown. Manretard played for 56 minutes...result???? olh yeah - nothing. go away Manpatheticbellyexcuseforacoach
He loves being on the field throwing footballs on Sunday. Is he giving it everything he's got to learn the system and do everything he can to win? Hard to say. I don't think he's emotionally attached to this team just yet, and if they don't have some success fairly early, they may lose him. I really think he spends alot of time thinking about what could've been with the Packers. Especially if they keep winning. A week doesn't go by that he doesn't mention the Packers or something about that whole ordeal.
I have expected it to be a 1 year thing from the get-go. As soon as it was determined that he wouldnt be a Packer or Viking, Favre was prepared to call it a career after 1 season. My worry is that the play-calling will continue to be so different from what he wants to do that he will want to quit playing half way through the season.
Watching Brett in GB for all of these years I can say that he will always give his all. I was concerned that he was going to be very frustrated with the playcalling after that goalline stand.
I think if Favre looses another game, his career is over. He won't come back even to sign a one day deal to retire as a Packer.
