It is now, we lost to a mediocre team today. The patriots without brady is nothing to be afraid of, and we repeatedly shot ourselves in the foot in a game the pats were begging us to win. We cannot go against Arizona (who is looking good), 1-2.

I don't think it is a must win next week. I had the Patriots game as a loss before the Brady injury. I still thought this would be a tough contest today even after the injury.
And to think Brady was probably home watching the game with his feet up and Giselle rubbing his bunions and we STILL lost...
The Chargers game is not a must win game by any stretch. When entering this season I picked the Patriots and the Chargers games as losses and still had us with a 10-6 record.
Definitely not a must win, but we are going to lose regardless. The chargers are going to be a hungry team next week. Its prime time and they have now lost their first two games in the closing seconds of the game. They are going to come after us with all they got, and we wont be near ready for it. 28-10 Chargers and Favre retires after the game. (just kidding about that last part)
Agreed. If they weren't ready for lame duck New England, a team they see twice a year and should have a burning desire to destroy in their home opener, then there's no way they'll be able to handle SD at home on Monday night.
After the screwjob that the Chargers just endured at the hands of the refs, they are going to come out angry. Not to mention it will be hot in SD...conditions that don't seem to do our team any favors. Yeah, I'm expecting 1-2.
