This guy is a beast. How many times yesterday did I see him blow up the center and almost get the handoff. I know he wore down towards the end of the game but that's expected with the temps so high. Finally, a real run stuffer!

Jenkins is responsible for a defensive 180...we shut down the run. Anyone who thought Faneca was a better addition to our team doesn't understand how the 3-4 revolves around the NT.

    Big ups to Jinx!!

I love the guy!! Jenkins is an absolute beast. Wait until it cools down a bit, that bid fella is gonna be ridiculous!!! He took a good amount of plays off y'day, and wasn't in the nickle obviously...but he is a TRUCK! We haven't had anyone near as good as him since #73 was there.

Talk about Favre all you want, but our biggest pickup this offseason was #77 no doubt

Ya Jenkins was incredible. Since there won't be anymore games played in 110F weather, I think our D line should be able to keep it together late in game...Assuming we never fucking run prevent again.

Thank god we got him instead of Rogers...

I really like the FA's we've added, Pace looks extremely impressive as well, although Jenkin's is doing all the dirty work.

And I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but David Harris is STRONG.

Jenkins will be worth every penny - no pun intended - of his contract if he keeps this up.

Jenkins was huge both physically and metaphorically. He is directly responsible for our improved DL play against the run - maybe our biggest defensive weakness last season. Last year teams ran players tackle-to-tackle against us all game long. That's not going to happen with Jenkins in the lineup.

I also noticed Gholston in on a couple pressures and a sack, although Pace officially got credit for takedown.

He's smart and fast too. Sniffing out that screen was unbelievable.

Not only did Kris Jenkins blow up the middle of their line with consistency, he wore them down enough that later during pass plays we got penetration in the middle with pass rushers instead of DT depth.

Jenkins is the key player acquisition of the 2008 NY Jets.

Unfortunately, he may save Sutton's job for another year.

i was pissed to see Pace get the full credit, Gholston completed the sack... he looked better than the philly game that has made him the current bust that he is on this board.

that one pressure he could touch Pennington, its nice to see him get better.

Vernon Carey is better than Nick Kazcur, can't wait to watch him and Thomas on that side next sunday. Thomas could get another 2 sacks.

I feel bad for Dan Koppen, he has to deal with Kris Jenkins.

well, thats why I feel bad for Koppen. Its like an asian dude and a black guy double teaming a chick in a porno. Koppen is the asian dude, and Jenkins is the black guy. Its just not a fair comparison. HAHAHAHA

I don't think Gholston will bust, but that sack belonged to Pace. Gholston pretty much fell on top of him after the tackle was all but completed.
