This is pretty much the end of the NE dynasty. No QB has came back from a year-long injury to win a SB.

    Ahhh hahaha WIPEOUT!

I believe the SB was in reach in 2005? Injuries put that dream away, and no one cared. Let's feel bad for the fact that this is an injury nobody wants on their own knee, but no vigil shall be held... its business.

Brady and the PATS got exactly what they deserve.... Assuming this is true... which, knowing New Englad, who the hell knows...(NFL Net is saying torn ACL & MCL)... That's what he gets for faking an injury all summer.. I guess the former HC of the NYJ is pissed off right now because he has no one to blame for his misfortune... grounds crew maybe? God?

Tough break for those cheating lowlife scumbags!!! I dont feel bad, this is the organization that has institutionalized video cheating and tom brady was a willing participant in the scumbaggery that the NFL tried to coverup. I cant think of a better way to start the 08 season! :gpc::pats_suck:

Probably only a rumor but if it's true LOL at the Pats.

I'll give that I hope it doesn't end his career. I really would like us to beat Fucktriots with him at QB.

It is amazing how the "football Gods" act.....no one would have predicted this one in the 1st quarter, of the 1st game of the season.

I am just so happy for the JETS....the press seems to be as jazzed as I am. They are all saying that the Jets and Favre are off to a great season.

P.S. I know this is off topic...but when I see that Tony Romo commercial on NBC Sunday Night Football, I want to puke. He looks like a 12 yr old, ugly little wimp.

As much as i hate the Pats, i hate seeing this more. I want to beat them with thier best players on the field. I don't want to beat them because Brady's out for the season. I for one, would be very disappointed.

    Quotes from Pollard

“The play was not intentional," Pollard said. "People can call me a dirty player, you can call me whatever you want to call me, it’s not a dirty play. When you have 230 pounds on your back, and you’re trying to go forward, things will happen. I saw the ball was still in his hands and I tried to get to him. I tried to get up and get to him. But I couldn’t get up, so I just tried to grab him. It was not an intentional play.”

    Hence the blown holding call....

“All I heard was him scream and yell. When I heard him scream and yell, I knew something was wrong,"

    Boo hoo hoo......

I was scanning the Pats message boards and came up with some great stuff

"I have a feeling I'm not going to give a shit about the NFL this year."

Spoken like a real Pats fan.....

"WEEI’s Ron Borges is reporting that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady suffered a torn ACL today, citing an NFL source close to the situation. If true, Brady is likely done for the season."

    Uh Oh.....

"After he dies of a heart attack today they will wrap Kraft in the stupid 16-0 banner and bury him in it. Yes, I now believe that banner was the ultimate hubris that did us in."

These pompous asses put up a 16-0* banner? Why not one that read 18-1*?

"If this is true could somebody please mail me some .38 caliber bullets? "

Sure masshole give me your address, the less of you the better

"Coach Marriucci was no where as negative....he said "the Patriots are a proud team, have won 20 games in a row".

Hey Mooch did you forget about that Super Bowl, I know you don't know what it is having never seen it but that game does count

"All I gotta say is: How many days until opening day? 365?"

    Another real Pats fan here.....
