by the time week 6 rolls around....the "referee" excuses will be replaced with "Pennington's arm" excuses....i'm speaking from experience here :wink:

Let them complain but let's be honest, we got the benefit of some calls that would usually go against us. I thought the Pass interference call on Coles was bogus but what goes around comes around. Usually it's called against us. There was also a non-call on delay of game in our favor on the same drive. They're just part of the game. If the calls went against the Jets, people on this board would be calling for the blood of the officials.
both teams had their share of questionable calls throughout the game. Anyway, I think we looked really good. I love the running game, the long passing game looked great, and if we work on the short passing game a bit... we're gonna be real hard to stop. J!E!T!S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
there were a bunch of PI penalties that fins didnt get flagged for fins dt was always in the neutral zone scoreboard
The clock on the wall (which is what is shown) is not official - the official time between plays is kept by the back judge. This is why so many times the clock hits 0 but it's not a penalty.
Yeah--I turned my back in disgust after the clock hit zero and the next thing I know, Stuckey's running with the ball and no-one is saying anything! Agree with you on the Coles call too. Also, we got lucky on the 11th man running off the field during Miami 4q punt rather than it being the 12th man! Overall, calls went a bit towards the Jets today--wow! does not happen often.
Just came back from game, refs were awesome, espesially #39 he was brutalize for his no calls...chad had a good read on defence all day, he was also giving intel to miami def staff about our offense. this would have been a blow-out if it wasn't for chad's inside info, and it was 100 degrees on the field, hot one today.
Every fucking team has stupid fans and stupid message boards. If you think yours is any different you're another one of them.
