Smooth move from the Jets and Westhoff though. Pennington is going to have his heater up to 20mph for this one, but I think we win anyway.
Chad knows the deal, he's a pro and it's a business. Guys who don't get that make life a lot harder on themselves. But still he's a human being, you know he wants to come out and have a great game. Favre said if he were facing the Packers it would be the same thing.
Devil's advocate.... Funny how Westhoff's attending is considered smooth, sly, smart. I bet if the Pats did it this board would be lit up red like a Christmas tree crying about cheaters and cameras and blah blah.......Just saying...... But actually Westoff was with the Dolfags b4 us and still lives down there (I believe). I remember seeing a vignette with him fishing off the Fla.Coast.
I can't blame him for being a little ticked off. Our defense better play a heck of a game or he can beat us. How many picks did our defense have on him during TC? None...I think.
I find it pretty cheap, actually. Unless Westhoff was considering going back to the Phins and then reconsidered.
Pennington wants to make the Jets pay? Why? For being one of the only Quarterbacks who gets injured each and every year? If not for Pennington...I'm not so sure I would understand the true meaning of a "Backup" QB. Nothing against Pennington...I was a huge Chad supporter, never talked down on the guy...But the fact of the matter is this...He's not a Jet for a reason, he just couldn't stay healthy...
Westy didn't cheat, the idiots let him watch the practices... the entire time Westhoff returning to the Jets was "on the table." Now he'll know the Fins ST coverage and more. L Wash could have 2 return TDs.
Yeah, now that I read KJ's thread with Boland's articles, I see that he was there as Bill Parcells' guest. Tuna can't get out of his own way sometimes.
Yeah but unfortunately there are some whos green glasses are simply unremovable. I call it how I see it. But yeah, I agree. Hey, Maybe he was looking at options or he's bangin one of the cheerleaders.
Exactly which one of these players would he be ranked higher than for a top five appearance? 1. Brady 2. Romo 3. Farve 4. Manning 5. Drew Brees 6. Carson Palmer 7. Donovan Mcnabb 8. Mark Bulger 9. Eli Manning 10. Philip Rivers
He's not a Jet because Brett Favre became available for a conditional draft pick. A month ago he was a Jet, injury history and all.
Chad looks kind of sad to be a Dolphin there--can't say I blame him. Hopefully he will be sadder on Sunday night.
Oh, I don't know, how about just about anyone who knows anything at all about Brett Favre. Which I guess doesn't include this writer whose being paid to do that. I can't wait until he starts learning that Favre pulls a lot of sophmoric jokes on his teammates, and both in team meetings and even game huddles likes to fart as loud as he can and make sure everyone knows it was his. That may be one of the worst aspects of Favre moving from Pack to Jets in the end, that we have to go through reporters writing about this stuff he does all over again. Seriously for a minute though, it may help "build chemistry" that Favre does this. A lot of players might be shocked and mystified at first, but it probably helps the younger ones (who were watching him play before they started peewee football) to quickly move past the "oh my god I'm playing with Brett Freaking Favre" and onto concentrating on the football itself. So if the price is that I have to read all about this stuff again ... so be it.
