There is only one bowl I would name after him and it has a flush lever.

Yeah, but since Citibank is a US bank everybody with half a brain should know how they spell it.

Call it Trojan Condom Field if that's the highest bidder. Anything to lower the PSLs.

Allianz are an f'n massive insurance company and if it pays for some of the stadium go with it. After all it won't be called Giants Stadium anymore which can only be good :)

Allianz? Sounds more appropriate for Detroit. Get it?

Huh Welcome change? That some Nazi oufit has the name to the Jets?

Doesn't Woody have enough money to buy the naming rights to his own damn stadium? Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. Woody should do the right thing and buy the damn naming rights for himself. This is chump change for the guy.

More a welcome change that we won't be played in a stadium named after another team. I hate corporations, but in the football landscape, I'd much rather be sponsored by some German company than be second class citizens in our own ballpark.

    Sorry, dude...

I was thinking more along the lines of "NYC Jets Stadium."

"Shea Stadium" would be a nice alternative though.

If I had as dough as Woody Johnson, I would think about this. The "team" (i.e. "brand") is already alienating long-time fans by raising ticket prices through the roof and adding the PSL licenses.

Hey, I am no crazy! It would be a cheap deal for both the Jets and Gians to find something else besides a "naming rights" deal.

How would it be cheap to give up 25 million a year (or more)? Between that and PSLs they have pretty much paid the stadium off. Add in the new prices of tickets and the rich get richer and that's the idea.

It's only right to name the stadium after those who are paying for it:

    "Jets and Giants PSL Stadium"

an appropriate name considering what fans of both teams have to pay for the psl's. come to think about it ( no pun intended), wouldn't vaseline park be just as fitting?:eek:hmy::shit::wink:
