I don't have the tapes to watch again--so, I have to go by my memory. Truly, if no-one on this site agrees with me, I will conclude my memory is faulty and I am incorrect about Baker. But please, what about fighting off defenders? Do you agree with me that a high percentage of passes thrown his way are intercepted?

I'll be honest with you...I haven't paid a lot of attention to the % passes that are INT'd and who they were thrown to..but that may have had something to do with the predictability of our play calling and the fact we needed to go over the middle more than spread it out.

I actually thought this was his greatest moment as a Jet

I just think that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he's not a game breaker like Winslow, Witten or Dallas Clark. But I think he's very consistent and very good.

He's not bad, nothing special really. I just hate that this is the play that gets brought up all the time when people talk about Baker. It's an incomplete pass, bad call or not.

We weren't talking about the call. We were talking about his control in going and getting it.

Baker should be the starting Tight End. He is the most complete Tight End on the roster.

I believe it will be a situational decision as well.............Baker on blocking and Keller in red zone situations.......we'll see!

    Where is this "official"?

The NYJ site has Lowery behind Miller.

I do not think the roster is announced until Sat

One of the worst calls in recent memory. Fortunately karma bit Cleveland in the ass, and Kellen Winslow got fucked over in pretty much the same situation against Zona last year.

And of course now under the new rule, they were both out.

He can't beat out a disgruntled, pedestrian, mediocre TE that is Baker - he couldn't during this off-season. Clearly, he is a bust. He needs to be cut immediately. The sooner, the better.

    +1

They should have just traded all there picks in this draft to move up to #1 and take Jake Long to replace D'Brick who is also clearly a bust. The Dolphins won the draft.
