Well hopefully it doesn't go into OT, cuz we all remember his last pass in OT.

How does Chad playing make it harder? 8 men in the box FTW.

    Seriously.

Let's just say the Lphins don't have the same caliber defense as last years Giants.

How about this OT pass from last year?

If Ricky Williams can run against us the game could be close if not we should win easily. Please G-D let our run defense finally be better.

If they try to blitz Favre, he will make them pay, big time.

I think Ted Ginn could have a good season. Chad's accuracy + Ginn's speed means lots of yards after the catch.

Well the first reason would be he's better then what they had and # 2, don't under estimate the knowledge he has of our defense. I would of rather faced one of the other QB's. That's all

Geez, my condolences. If I was the jets I would come in chucking it. Favre will have all day to throw and rip this crappy secondary to pieces. Then pound it after getting a 2 score lead. This is going to be fun. I say 65% of the place will be Jet fans.

You know what Chad can do in with the Jets, you don't know what Chad can do with the Dolphins. I know you Jet fans want to think there is light years of difference between the two teams, but none of you know what this season will bring and none of you know how it will end.

You all act like everything is based on guaranties, but only fools would believe they're guaranteed to win anything. The Jets made a lot of moves and they "should be" better, but they have yet to play one game. The Jets are coming off a 4-12 season. How do you know the Jets come out of gate firing on all cylinders or everyone they signed will produce? You don't, so to think the Dolphins aren't gonna be a worthy game, you must be a new fan to this rival, cause talent has proven in the past to be a non factor in many of the games. It's a division game plain and simple.

Right because none of the Lphins fans are absolutely sure all there new talent is going to translate to wins.

Do I need to go dig up the threads from finheaven where Pennington = Bob Griese, Merling = Richard Seymore, and the best one of all, Rickey Williams = Bo Jackson?

Obviously the guy is saying Rhodes will lead the league in scoring "tongue in cheek".

The next impact play Crowder makes will be his first. Porter, when not busy sucker punching guys in casinos, is a shell of what he once was. As far as gameplanning goes, I'll take Porter of Jason taylor any day.

How do you know you have a real coach? Based on his last successful NFL gig? Haven't we heard this 'real' coach line since Jimmy Johnson, Saban, Cameron? (Notice I left out Wanndstache) But now all of a sudden a guy with no NFL head coach experience is a 'Real' coach. The last guy that Parcells annointed 'his' coach was a guy named Groh. All I have to say about him is, meh...

I think it will be tight for 3 reasons.
1.We have a ton of new players out there so I think it may take this team a few weeks before it really starts hitting it's stride.
    2. Pennington wants to win this game bad, he doesn't make mistakes, and he knows our team inside and out.
    3. It's the home opener under a new regime for the phins. Even though they were a 1 win team last year they have the hope of a new season.

It's a scary game but in the end I think even with Favre only having a couple of weeks to prep we should score enough points on weak defense to pull this one out.
