I will say that the dolphin's definitely aren't the team from last year. The run game is still very dangerous in my opinion. Ricky williams is still a premiere running back (Makes brown look like a bust) and we need to stop the run if we intend on winning here. Chad will dink and dunk all day long , but if we cant stop the run he will have what he needs to eek out a win. Its time for our boys to earn thier paychecks and bring home a win!!!!!!!!!! :jets:
For me I think we are far more talented on paper, but Jets-Phins is always a game where you throw that out the window because the talent and record never seem to matter, its almost always a hell of a game. :finssuck:

Nothing would make me happier. Not that I'm wishing a Hurricane on anyone...lots of places in Fla are still hurting from a few years ago. But as I said earlier in this thread, the thing that has me most concerned is the heat and humidity. I seriously fear that our guys will wear down in the 4th quarter.
No its Matt Roth and he has been great this pre-season coming off the edge. The whole front seven has looked fantastic. Have to see if it will carry over into the regular season.
Well there's also the fact the TS will want to set a new tone in Miami, you not only have to win division games, but home division games. Miami's coaches will have this team fired up to win this game, they want us to win the most important games first. Home games and division games are the most important games to win for any team. I'm not saying Jet coaaches aren't preaching the same, but the Dolphins will be trying to shake the 1-15 season stink.

The Jets/Dolphins game never makes much sense when it comes to the two teams' talent, or standings, or anything else. That's why it's one of the great rivalries in all of sports. If, somehow, the Jets lose to Chad and the Dolphins? I'll be surprised, but not shocked.

Now its Brett fucking Favre behind a top 10 O-Line, and MIA got rid of their 2 defensive leaders in Taylor and Thomas. On paper, this is a 20 pt game. In reality its a 11 pt game... Take the points on this one. And the over. 28-17
By that game their season was over and if I'm not mistaken, Cleo F***in Lemon was their QB. In the first game when they were still trying it was only a 3 point spread.
