http://www.newjetsstadium.com/waitinglist.php The New York Jets have finally stepped into the 21st century. For those who were too lazy to print out the form, scribble on it, and snail mail it in. Don't worry I'm one of them.
sweet i just signed up. I was def to lazy to snail mail it.. Edit: I might be 50 by the time i get them but hey its worth it.
I don't think that's true. You still have to buy the tickets every year or you will lose your seats along with the PSL that you paid for unless you sell it to somebody else. And it certainly isn't true for the upper level seats where (for now) there is no PSL.
I don't think anyone is going to not buy tickets every year if they paid 4-25k for the PSL. The only chance for waiting list people is in the upper deck. But its going to move super slow. With all these people wanting to move up to avoid PSL, all those people going back on the waiting list, people not wanting to give up their non-PSL season tickets, not to make you guys feel bad but if you just enter the waiting list now you might not see the seats in your life time.
I think there is a very slim chance of anyone joining the waiting list now to be able to buy non-PSL seats, however the lower PSL seats may very well be available to new ticketholders. Especially when the current ticket holders who won't be able to afford the $4000-$5000 or those who get upset with the org when they realize those 27,000 seats are gone by the time they get to choose. Also keep in mind MANY of the current season ticket holders simply get their tickets then sell to friends for face value since they no longer go, but want to keep the rights (this is how I've been getting tickets for the past 5 years). This will no longer be a viable option with a PSL cost tagged on, so most of these owners will stop being nice, and simply give up their seats.
if a current season ticket holder gets bumped from upstairs and can't afford a psl do they go to the front of the waitlist or the back?
Forgive me if this has been mentioned on another thread, but I thought I read that current season ticket holders get the pick of the litter when it comes to relocation. I would imagine that many will move to the PSL-free upper level. I'm on the waitlist so I could have an outside shot of getting tickets. Does anyone have an estimate on what the turnover will be?
