Jets wearing Titans colors vs. NE & Cincy

I was in Miami when I saw the Jets wear their Titans outfits. My friend was laughing and I said to myself "Great, we're dead". But they won & I was happy & I told my friend, Never laugh when the Jets bring back the days of the NY Titans. "You lose! good day sir!"

But I agree that they shouldn't wear them against the Pats.

 

This is really stupid. I hate those uniforms (or at least strongly dislike them) and the jets have great colors and cool uniforms in my opinion. They should just wear their classic green and white home unis and go to work.

 

I love the Titan unis. Honestley, I can't see every color so when these teams throw out variations of uniforms with slight differences I don't notice. The Titan uniforms stand out. As do the 80's throwbacks but I don't have the best memories of those times. I did like the variation of the helmets that were green with the white(current) logo.

 

thats a real absurd comment. i am not going to say what i want to say as i would not like to be banished for 10 days but you really should grow up.

 

it's the players wearing the uniform, that matter. I don't care what color they are.

 

It sure would be sweet to own a Don Maynard Titans jersey though

Lets where dark blue jerseys in the begining of the season when it can be possibly 90 degress. Wow thats smart.

I'm still hoping they Change the Opening day Jersey's back to normal.


This is just wrong and again shows the Greed of the Owners to try and force shit down our throat's.

The Site crashed after Favre jersey's went up and that's still not enough.
I know it's a business but sometimes common sense supersedes that.

 

I read on JI that they were "considering" wearing the regular uniforms for the home opener.

They are switching pretty often this year. The two times with the Titans jerseys and then 1969 jersey night as well. I prefer the jerseys in 1997.

 

They will wear the Titans shirts. It's all about the $....

 

So true, it's all about $ales...just like the Favre transaction. Wake me up when this franchise starts winning again. Don't care much for a million jersey sales, publicity stunts or cute historic uniforms.

 

I agree, I like them also, but not in the home opener.

I don't like calling them the Titans. I call them the "N.y. Marauder's" when they wear the blue uni's. Its either that or the New York Rams?

 

Not to change the subject but here's a thought -- think they might change their uniforms (to be more like the 80s/90s version) when they move to the new stadium?

I never liked the ones they have now ... although I did buy one b/c I'm a fan.


Oh, and I agree w/everyone who thinks it's stupid to wear the throwbacks during your home opener. I can't remember a time anyone else has done this.
