Good Lord, I thought Favre in a Jets jersey looked weird.

"Why is our running back of three years in New York? That sucks. He is with our head coach too."

    Much different situation.

I have never been a Pennington fan, so it makes it proper now. I no longer have to feel like a tool because I dislike my teams QB, now I can actually dislike him because he is Pennington and he plays for the Phins now. Makes a lot more sense now.

Dean you are mean. haha. :)

I just finished watching Pennington's press conference. He continues to talk like a champion, sadly his body says other things.

It just doesn't seem right...I know we're going down a differnet path and Favre should help us....but wow, that makes it hit home.

One of my favorite players is now a Dolphin. I honestly felt like throwing something at the tv when I heard about this. :(

    Yeah, its tough to see

I was far too young to see Broadway Joe in a Rams uni, but I imagine this is kind of the same way people felt back then. Packers fans must feel the same way about Favre in a Jets uni.

    Its tough

Good to see the Chad-haters out in full-force with the classless comments too.

That definitely didn't look weireder b/c vinny had already played in 4-5 unifroms to that point. Chad had never been in another NFL uni.

Don't hold that against him. He needed the money because of his divorce which pretty much wiped him out.

I actually shuddered when I saw him on the sidelines. He looks like he's in utter disbelief and is holding back the tears. Depressing.

It stinks. Mostly because he knows our playbook better than some of our coaches and most of our current players. I knew the moment the Favre deal was done, he would be a Dolphin.

I hardly ever comment on here, I prefer to read the 'intelligent' comments of those who know what they are talking about... but this is just wrong in so many ways.

"He is an awful QB", "since I know he can no longer ruin us and he can trash another team."? Those words are taking 'Chad hating' to a level that he doesn't deserve. Chad gave us everything he had in his time here, when he was healthy and had a team around him he took us to the playoffs, but after too many injuries and not enough supporting cast, he just wasn't the same Chad. He could not make a silks purse out of a sows ear, no matter how hard he tried or how much we wanted him to be able to.

I am glad that we have Brett (both of them), but to knock a former Jet, who was the ultimate team player is uncalled for. For myself, I will cheer for CP and hope he has a great year... except of course when he plays us. Everyone needs to stop the 'Chad hating' now, it's over, allow him to move on.

The better part of that, is this....Now that he needs to learn a new playbook, he is not concentrating on his physical flaws to the same degree
