Rod Woodson "Jets not making playoffs"

he's the same guy that wanted Clemens to start over Chad and said that we have a better chance with him behind center before the Favre trade. I like Woodson, but I don't know where his head at is now.

 

When did Rod Woodson become realevent or deserve his own thread?

You guys really have to get over this crap. More than half the people hated the Jets before Favre, the rest hate them because of Favre. The Jets are America's Anti-team and you should all be happy for that.

Rod Woodson has no business being on the NFL network. He's a freaking idiot. Yes - he was a great player but he sucks as an analyst (see Emmitt Smith). Out of all of them, Jamie Dukes offers the best insight. Marshall Faulk is pretty good too. Terrell Davis is just as bad as Woodson.

Don't listen to Woodson. The Jets will challenge the Pats for the division with Favre at the helm.

I agree with you Johnny except I like Faulk ahead of Dukes--On draft day of 2007 Faulk was praising the jets for trading up for Revis and Harris--lots of another guys said we gave up too much--Faulk was obviously right.

 

Yeah - Faulk and Dukes are both pretty good; I probably just like Jamie more because of his Brett bias.

 

It's gonna be close "this year" in my opinion but "any given Sunday" and "any given year"

Unless I'm mistaken, why should the Jets deserve anything less than opinions like Woodsen has expressed? They were unproven before Chad P and are still unproven with Brett F. ( regardless of what his occomplishments were). This guy is one concussion away from a nearby mic with a 'retirement' announcement. How much can you expect a 38 year old to do with a strange team in a strange city? Wonder if anyone even remembers waht the Jets did to them in Greenbay 2 years ago?

 

I thought that once Pennington was gone, Rod would ease up... turns out his bias wasn't just about Penny, but the Jets in general.

I've always been a realist and I think Woodson has always given a legit opinion. Why wouldn't you hate on the Jets? We look so desperate to outsiders... I am down with the money we spent but to non-koolaid drinkers we look like casino-dwellers for sure. Until results are proven we've signed a buncha washed up pro-bowlers. But I believe we've signed a buncha current pro-bowlers hahaha thats the difference.

 

I thought Woodson and Jamie Dukes were going to go at it the other day on NFLN. There was definately tension...anyone else notice it?
