It not CHAD'S fault that he was cut. He wanted to play for us. WE cut HIM loose. If he was able to get a job with Miami....GOOD FOR HIM. The hell with US. Not the hell with Chad. The man's trying to make a living. The disloyalty is with the JETS, not with Chad. I understand why he was let go. In fact , I believe it's what we needed to do. But, those of you getting on Chad's back for securing a job are ridiculous. Grow up. Chad loved the Jets and was a hard worker and great leader. WE cut HIM.......All the best Chad. I, for one will miss your persona on the Jets sidelines.
I hope we clobber him Week 1...I would of been fine with him going to KC and seeing him mid-season...But Miami? Gimmie a break. I love the "The man's trying to make a living." As if he didn't get enough from the contract Bradway gave him.
Absolutely right. He will start and it looks like he got a good contract. The Dolphins are now a well managed team. It's a good move for him professionally. I hope we kill them but I have no problem with Chad signing their at all. I hope it works out for him, just not at the Jets expense.
My Pitbull, Vernon G, is going to get him good. He wears orange and teal. Vernon hates teal and orange, its like the color red to a bull on coke.
I Love CHad, hope all the best for him. Its a shame he went to the dolphins. He gave us all he had, we went thru great moments with him. I cant stand that he wen there, but if thats the best for him, tha ok with me
Chad is a good QB and I wish him all of the best in Miami. However I think it will take awhile obviously for them to get it together.
why would anyone have a problem? he doesnt owe the jets anything. Let the man get in where he fits in. Let us also crush him though, as he is now our opponent.
Chad's made a decision that he considers smart and worthwhile. I have not doubt about that, since he is smart, mature, and intent on winning a championship. I think we ought to take a close and long look at what the hell Parcells is doing down there. Who are they playing this weekend?
yeah, and Bradway signed Chad to a $64M contract a few years ago--No he didn't collect it all, but I'll bet he got $30-40M from the jets over the years. But as you said "The man's trying to make a living."
and that is why if God himself came down and allowed you to choose any profession you wanted and you chose NFL GM, still not a single NFL owner would hire you. yeah, you keep the $6 million dollar QB as the back up, cut Clemmens and several other players because you can't afford them all under the salary cap, and hurt your depth at several positions just to keep two high priced QB's.
I just really have a problem when a QB can only throw 15 yards. WOW noodle arm is finally gone. The off season Chrismas gifts just keeps coming!
Only throw 15... I love the comments based on anecdotal info and media blasting... Check this out... http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-2-47/Chad-better-than-Brett-on-long-balls.html
Yeah... While Pennington had a better passer rating Favre threw almost 3 times as many touchdowns with over twice as many yards. Nice try ESPN. It's called RISK/REWARD. Equate this to wins and yeah....
Chad deserves to be blasted. If he was not going to win with the Jets I hoped he could win somewhere else. Instead he went to Miami where they will lose, alot. And he won't be protected. Makes no sense. Just the money and starting job I guess.
