These guys all realize it's a businesss, Coles wasn't thinking of Chad when he first left for DC and this past offseason when he was complaining about his contract again. He'll get used to favre and be ok.

Favre will make him a pro bowl WR and will be the best QB he has ever played with. Highly doubtful he will have much to complain about.

He's already been a Pro Bowl WR.

Yes....but....will Favre be as good in the "spooning" dept with Coles as Chad was...we have to look at all the intangibles

I think too much was made of Coles's supposed unhappiness. He's a team leader. I am far more concerned about his durability than his attitude.

Looks to me after seeing that game last night, that if Coles has a problem with this, there's a guy named Clowney with some seriously sick burners on him that wouldn't mind gaining a starting role on that team! With "Bombs Away" Brett launching guided missiles over the defense now, the Jets are really going to be looking good in the aerial department!

Favre has the same type of personality as Chad, so theres no doubt in my mind this will work.

Not to mention, I think Coles career was just extended another 2-3 years because of this. No more floaters, no more Chad putting him out there to get smacked, no more concussions.

Not to mention, idk if anyone remembers this, but in Coles' combine, he ran the fastest 40 time in that class. And im pretty sure one of the fastest 40 times of all time. Favre will finally give Coles a chance to beat the coverage deep.

Well it will make him even better and I don't think he will miss some of Chad's floaters over the middle. A friend is a friend but a better player getting you the pigskin will help smooth things over.

coles wont be a problem, sure him and chad are friends but its a business and the jets had the oppurtunity to bring in a sure fire hall of famer to play QB and they did just that.

I don't know where Coles is at now because you rarely see him able to turn the afterburners on because of the overabundance of floaters putting him directly into the crosshairs of tacklers (that should change now), but he was a fucking rocket on steroids when we drafted him. He ran a 4.19 40, which ranks among the fastest ever. Usually you see maybe one or 2 40 times at the combine break 4.30. It would be major if he can get even remotely close to that with us now being able to air it out.

Despite his Chad love, I don't think Coles will be a problem. It's not like Chad was dumped for a rookie.

Falcons fan checking in to gauge Jets' fans thoughts...

Question: is Coles that big of a malcontent? One would think that he'd be ecstatic to have Favre's arm lining up under center and throwing to him.

Coles' new best friend is going to be the deep ball from Brett Favre.

    Yeah, tell ME about it!

It's been like some huge dramatic shitstorm that's hit my team. A stupid QB, a coach with no class, the discharging of several key veterans. But I do think we've got some new coaches and players that are going to finally give us ailing Falcon fans something to finally celebrate...

Here's to an ex-Falcon (Favre) and to an ex-Jet (Abraham) giving us an exciting season!
