I was just sitting here pondering life....and started thinking. Do you guys think Coles will throw a "fit", now that the FO has cut his best friend...or will he embrace Favre and try his best to build chemistry with him?

I think Coles swallows his pride and tries to make it work....I'm hoping he puts his personal feelings aside and does what's best for the team....but then again, this is Coles we're talking about

^ Coles has always been the type to take shit personal though. It's never been "just business" to him.

yeah...that's what i thought too. Any other player, I would say "business first. sport second"....but Coles' personality is an enigma, and he does take a lot of shit personally.

Favre is the kind of guy who is too cool to hate. Coles should get along with him fine and they'll be a great tandem.

I think we are going to hear some funny ass stories of Coles and Favre having fun in the locker room. Coles is a team guy, imo, and despite losing Penny I am sure he's just as excited to play with Favre.

it's a legit concern, but i assume Coles is getting to the point in his career - as many athletes do - where he just wants to win; and if he has any intelligence, he knows Favre gives him a better chance than his bestest friend.

Coles "issues" have always been blown up by this board and the media. He'll get over it, if there's even a problem like he always does.

Coles has a nice big mortage in Florida that says he won't be pulling any shenanigans. Besides he knew what bringing in Favre meant to Chad so if there was going to be an issue he would have already said something.

Beat me to it. He won't be happy but I don't think that he will make a big deal out of it. If you've ever seen or read interviews with him, he's a sarcastic guy. If you don't understand that it is sarcasm, that is where the whining stuff comes from.

That and the money grubbing. Which also won't be an issue.

I'm sure he'll prefer catching passes in stride instead of waiting for the floater to drop in a second ahead of the safety charging towards him at full speed. :eek:hmy:

I'm sure a short film of Coles waiting on several passes then getting railed just as the ball gets there will make him appriecate some added velocity on the throws comming his way.

Coles better keep his mouth shut with his new contract and play like he is capable of... Coles at a high level means this Offense and Passing game will take off and in a hurry.
