I want to thank the Jets front office for bringing Brett Favre to the team. I'm proud of the staff for sticking with it from beginning to end, even when many of us kept hearing that Brett didn't want any part of New York.

The team that the Jets built this season is good enough to make it well into the playoffs. Many Jets fans who are used to losing keep saying that the Jets were not ready to win the Super Bowl - that Brett Favre was never going to come to the team - that Brett Favre is a whiner - that Chris Baker should be traded, after he has given his heart and soul for this team and has gotten better every season he has played. I hate pessimists. To me, the pessimists are the real whiners and the real losers.

I also want to thank the Jets front office for attempting to move the Jets to New York City. When I attended the Republican Convention in 2004, Jets signs were everywhere. Woody tried, and he (we) only lost by one lousy vote.

Thank you Jets management for bringing Bill Parcells to the team, when you did, and for taking a chance on his disciple, Eric Mangini. Whether it works out or it doesn't, it showed guts.

People complain about management all the time. Brian Cashman needs to be Superman for people to like him and not thank G-d that he makes the Yankees winners each and every year. The Jets management is the same. The staff is filled with scapegoats and punching bags. Me? I'm proud of what the Jets management has given us.

And that's why I say THANK YOU :)

We were good enough to make it to the playoffs w/ or w/o Favre. This move will only be a good one if we make it to the AFC Title game or beyond. I'll reserve my judgement of the deal until then.

Nah, it'll be a good move if the games are a little more exciting than in recent years.

Winning creates excitement, I'd rather win in a boring way than lose in an exciting way.

True, but I'd rather win in an exciting way than win in a boring way and I'd rather watch games with the anticipation of something exciting happening, rather that it being a once a season event.

I can't wait to read the "Thank you Management" talk once the PSL Letters get to the paying customers in the mail. I wonder how many who posted will change the song they are singing here and quickly.

If you would've told me in Mar that the Jets' 2008 roster would've included Faneca, Pace, Jenkins, and now FAVRE!!! I would've punched you in the mouth and wept like a school girl.

    Bravo Tangini! Bravo indeed!!!

I feel more like a piece of my soul was ripped out. We sold out for an old ass malcontent.

Hopefully he plays for more than 2 years. If they don't go to Super Bowl with Favre, this trade will be a bust in my opinion.

He'll probably play at least 10 years for the jets.
