If we need to get under the cap, d-d Barrett and trade Thomas (they get paid to make this happen in the FO, right?).

Keep Pennington. It'd feel ever so barely and slightly bittersweet to win a SB without him after the memories.

Clemens, I could care less. Hardly know ya. Keep seeing Game Two vs. the Cheats and that interception.
(What the hell were you thinking?)

I'm pretty damn sure we're winnning this thing next January.
Our new leader is someone whom I just now heard ESPN refer to as the biggest star in the league. Why can't Pennington play the most expensive garbage time in the NFL ev-er, every...single...game?
    And a supporting cast of:
Neon Leon, Tom Jones. Doing the What's New Pussycat One-Two.
Old Man Riverson laying out linebackers.
Mangold, Faneca D'Brick Moore and Woody making pancakes.
Coles, the Jericho Turnpike, Stuckey, and Don't Call Me Slash-It's Smith...
    Butter Franks and Touchdown Baker?!
Are you kidding me?! We are a force to be reckoned tonight.

Pennington deserves to be with us when we party like it's early-January 1999.

Nice sentimental feelings, but this is the NFL not a family outing.
Clemens makes a good young backup to Farve, and he can learn alot from Farve as they're similar players in play style, but Clemens will never be a star of Farve's stature, but neither will chad.

They probably have to ditch penny and barrett to get under the cap unless favre restructures. Thomas is "only" making $1.7 million this year.

He was probably thinking, "Man, I wish I had a Left Guard who would block the pass rush."

This is a no-brainer. Chad and his huge salary HAVE to go, while, with any luck, Kellen joins the long list of QBs who studied under Favre and went on to impressive success in their own rights. Altho they all did it with different teams, of course.

Chad doesn't want to be a backup...keeping him as a backup or even to trade would be a selfish/stupid act by the FO(obviously)...
Chad deserves to go to the team of his choice...hopefully he gets an offer and chooses minnesota...where he can still succeed as a starting qb
so how about in this fantasy...we win the superbowl the next 2 years...let chad/vikings win the 3rd year...and then we win 12 more before the NFL disbands b/c we are so good that we ruined the sport for everyone else

    Yes good point....

Brunell, Hassleback, hell even Aaron Brooks brought the Saints their 1st ever playoff win. I think Rodgers is going to be a good QB if he can stay healthy. Clemmons should still be here as should Ainge when Favre retires (again). I think the future could be bright for either ome of those guys.

Having Chad as a back-up would be great, but only if he allows the Jets to shave about $5 million off his salary, and I think he's way too proud to do that. In a few days, some other team will have our Chad :(

I Say well see a couple of high player Cuts... Barrett could be gone and Penny will most likely be released... We need Clemens as our back up though forshure.

I hope he goes to Minny as well, but I got a feeling... about the Dolphins.
