what happens to the wait list for next year? i assume it just vanishes. i remember one of the questions from the survey was would you want the jets to give you the psl money back when you want to sell as long as it is all paid off. maybe they keep it around for that purpose. i was in the low 8,000s so i doubt it matters much.
It's probably varied over the years. There wasn't any list until the late 70s and then when the team came to Jersey in the 80s and was good, it probably ballooned. The Giants had their great teams around that same time, so it could possibly have peaked out around 15 years at one point. My nine year wait included the Carroll and Kotite years, so a lot of people might have been jumping ship (or out windows) during those years.
I would think the team will start calling through the waiting list as existing ticketholders opt out of the new deal. At 8,000 you'll probably be getting a call because at least that many are going to drop.
wait this is your first season after waiting 8 yrs to get season tickets and you got section 109??? why am i finding this hard to believe. Usually they put you in the 300 level corner end zone between rows 25-31. Thats were they put me 3 yrs ago and everyone else i know.
I got my tickets this year. I put my name on when I was 12 in 1995. So 13 years later I got them at the age of 25. Pumped...but only for 2 years, just don't see me paying all that money for PSLs. I am getting section 300 or something, how did first time season ticket holders get lower level?? I hope I didn't miss something. Oh, I have yet to get the tickets, but mail has yet to come today, so I am holding out hope.
Yes, I was surprised as well, but this is how it went. About 8 years ago we signed up for the waiting list and were put in the 18000 range. We were going down 2 to 3k a year till they put in the $50 charge, then we went down 4 to 5k a year. This year we recieved the letter saying we can get the season tickets and yes, the letter said upper level end zones only. We send in the money for 2 tickets in that upper level end zone and a week later or so, they called us stating all those seats were now gone and if we would like to go with either Mezzanine or Lower level tickets, but you need to send us this much more money. We said ok and got our tickets yesterday. We are very surprised to be honest. My neighbor who has season tickets is angry as he's had ticket for 9 years up in the upp level and have never been offered anything else. I assume now, you have to call and ask them every year if you have something better. But I don't know, I'm new to this process.
After 13 years of buying the season from a friend I got my own tickets this year, but I'm moving fom the lower upper level 50yd line to the corner uppper. How in the world did you get 109?
my wife and I had that same question and all she could think of is that she filled out completely some survey they had earlier this year and maybe had something to do with that survey, but that's just a guess.
It was probably just timming after they filled all the tickets in the upper level and for some reason those lower levels tickets became available.
I also put my name on the list in Oct of 1995. I got my season tickets in 2006. Why did it take you 2 years longer then me to get yours?

Or is that a typo and you put them on in 1995? If that's the case, I don't know...maybe because I put mine on a month or so later - I don't even remember, to be be honest. But that's not cool, lol. Where are your tickets? Still upper?
LOL sorry yes its a typo i meant 1995! And yea there still in the upper corner level. I sent in a letter last yr for an upgrade but now with the PSL's coming i think ill stay where im at.
If you had read the post above yours, posted 30 minutes earlier, he already cleared up that it was a typo. Nothing to see here.
