Peace is a lie. There is only passion. Through passion , I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken.
page 134 bane killed Fohargh and met the highest student whats his name. i wish i had my time to read but to and from work is my only time to read. maybe i should stop surfing tgg.com to finish up
You know what...that's actually a pretty close to what I had thought. It was tough to keep thinking of Bane as being bald.
watched the last 45 minutes of Phantom last nite. man was that terrible.ja jar is absolutely unwatchable and that battle scene was amataur
Really? I would say the battle between the 2 Jedis and Darth Maul was pretty bad ass. The clear best part of the movie. Except when Darth Maul is cut in half and turns into a balloon.
what?????????half the battle was filmed from the waist up...... never did they try using the force against one another,Liam Neeson moved way to slow and i think darth maul would have sensed obi wan was gonna jump over him. very very weak
Neeson moved slow, but how did Anakin and Obi-Wan move so fast in Episode III and then become so slow in Episode IV? Makes no sense.
I watched the whole thing on Spike. What a total crapfest. I had forgotten just how bad that movie actually was. Even the Jedi battle was poor. Darth Maul had tons of potential, and was just a cameo in the movie, and even that was a disappointment.
Anyone reading the Darth Bane book do not read below as there is a semi-spoiler I’ve been thinking. After reading the Bane book how eerie the parallels are between Bane and Obi Wan & Yoda. In both paths the characters have to hide the fact that they still exist. Yet Bane leaves “whispers” of the Sith’s survival of the smart bomb. I began to think about why Obi Wan would choose to reveal himself in the Cantina when Luke is being harassed. Is he trying to also create “whispers” that the Jedi have survived? I have never been able to figure out why he would draw that kind of attention to himself when cutting an arm off with a Lightsaber. But this sort of makes sense. The thought being that the word would get to the Emperor and Vader of their failure. Of course this is all before they get caught by the Death Star and Obi Wan is confronted by Vader (or vice versa) anyway.
